Absolutely awesome site!! I just wish that I wasn't an old fart techno-doofus or I would have found this place long ago to counter all of the buzz this show seems to generate around my office. What I find equally hilarious is that some people take the show so seriously! We're in a war, the government is spending our futures now and the only thing these nitwits have to worry about is whether some future pre-op transsexual of Indian background might actually be the next American Idol and that he isn't as good as (insert name of loud African American soul screamer here). Yes, Sanjaya's the one for us.:-) Keep up the good work! |

| This is a great site. People just are unable to appreciate the irony of Sanjaya making the cut. The Today show called him the comeback kid. Helps you realize how truly screwed up the media is. My kids and I know he sucks but we log in at least a 100 votes like homework. Anything to prop up the brown brother. Otherwise it stops being a singing contest and it becomes an eating contest with those fat pigs Lakeisha, Melinda, and Jordin eating there way to the top. Only way Sanjaya will lose if those cows eat him. |

| Ah..this is good reading. I laugh at the people who are crying about the good talent being ousted. Most of the so called "talent" are not very talented. With the exeption of a few, names mentioned earlier, the people voted off deserve to be voted off. The people whining should realize that all the talent agents would get a great singer under contract regardless of when they were voted off if they were really talented. How come you dont hear much from most of the second, third, fourth and fifth place singers? Because they don't have what it really takes to be an "Idol"! I think voting for Sanjaya is a great idea. It exposes AI for what it really is.... A BIG JOKE...DAWG! Besides he really got me worked up doing that hula thing, for a second there I almost forgot he wasn't a chick!! Oh just thinking about him uh hummmina...hummina...hummmina...uh I'll be back I gotta go play with myself. |

| you make NO SENSE, you guys are obviously pissed cause the show doesn't go fairly, then you vote for people who doesn't have an ounce of talent, sanjaya shouldn't have passed the auditions. It would make more sense to vote for one person that has talent but won't last forever. Cause We don't need anymore bad singers, and we have to many R&B singers that sound like everyone in the 60s. and if you think that this site will cancel american Idol. It won't because, all your doing is making more people watch the show to see how long some of these idiots can last. and you piss and moan about the show not being fair, what the hell do you think your doing? the show should be paying you sense they have no control at this stage. |

American Idol is the 21st century equivalent of The Gong Show. I vote according to what would be the most interesting outcome of this show. Kind of like a movie where you have the ability to change the paths of the characters throughout. Keep Sanjayar there until the final, this will make Mr Cowell and Co think next time on who they let through. Where would the excitement be in a show if the audience know that the most talented will win? Screw that, its time to let rip on this thing. Everyone crying that their favourites have been voted out instead of Sanjayar, tough luck they weren't going to win anyway. Would you rather see someone sing "My Way" exactly like Frank Sinatra or would you rather see "My Way" sung by a retard with a speech impedement? Only one answer there and its with the entertainment side. The Population is in charge of this show not some acne drenched virgin teenager who is voting due to someone being "awwww so cwuuuute". Its time to take back Television from the MAN, its time for Revolution. Everyone should be behind a site like this, this is our voice. Lawsuits are for the dimwits, the ridiculous creatures of life whose main purpose in life is to make sure American gets the RIGHT idol. | So the American troops aren’t aloud any sort of entertainment to take their minds off of the everyday hell that is war, hmm? They can go over seas, be separated from friends and love ones, live and sometimes die on foreign soil, but they can’t have a little fun with the magic box?
Here’s a notion, if everyone that watched American Idol redirected their time, money, and energy towards some more notable causes then perhaps they could do a little more to make the lives of American’s better. How about instead of sitting there dialing until your little fingers bleed get up and go volunteer at a homeless shelter or a boys and girls club. How about taking the costs of your text messages and donate them to finding a cure for cancer.
This website offers a little fun in an otherwise bleak and depressing world. Without it American Idol would be just some other crap reality show with no real meaning other then to make money. Six seasons and just now they’re “giving back” to the world?
I say if the troops get some chuckles out of the whole ordeal it only gives me more reason to vote for Sanjaya. |

Let me start off by saying that I love you site and I read it almost every day now to listen to all the teeny boppers complain, it brings much joy to my life.... I know I am disturbed. Anyway, I just read a post by a "Katie" talking about the men and women fighting to defend our rights and a wild guess on what the forefathers would make of this site. I am in fact one of those members who is currently serving his country, I am active duty and have been in for 13 years. I have spent more years in the gulf since the first war than most of the people writing in to bash the site have most likely been alive. I work in a unit of roughly 725 people and I have now made it my hobby to get them ALL to vote for this kid, last week my friends and I casted well over 3000 votes between us, every week that he makes it through and not even bottom 3 I can't help but laugh and it just fuels the fire for these rants, we love it. As far as democracy goes, this is probably the best example of how a democracy works. You pick a candidate, back him and campaign for votes. Our fore fathers would be proud. I love what you are doing, keep up the good work and I salute you all!!!

I am one of the thousands of Americans sitting over here in Iraq with nothing better to do than win Iraqi hearts and minds to the wackiness that is American culture. I agree, conditions over here suck for a lot of folks, and not knowing if you are going to see tomorrow causes a little stress. However, I would not call VFTW a meaningless cause. If there is one thing that keeps a soldier from dwelling on his possible demise, it is increased morale through diversions. There are several of us who watch AI weekly thanks to Armed Forces Network, and believe me when I say that watching that little freak perform each week boosts my morale to almost the same level as hearing my wife's and son's voices on the phone. Everybody should do their part to "support the troops". I applaud all the groups who have sent care packages and letters of support; I also applaud VFTW's efforts for keeping this slice of Baghdad in stitches. Keep Sanjaya in for the sake of the troops!!

You people all have a problem. There are so many (millions!) of people that watch American Idol and enjoy watching good contestants perform. That's why we almost make our fingers bleed dialing in for Melinda, LaKisha, and Jordin, who are all outstanding. That you are encouraging people to vote for Sanjaya is demeaning, infuriating, and just plain awful. Whoever started this is immature and needed this sick idea of FUN to keep him/her occupied. It really makes me SICK. I hate how this is turning into a conspiracy! Hey, love the site. My wife hates it. We're both idol fans. She asked me a few weeks ago why I was plugging my laptop into the phone line. I told her I was about vote for the worst and that I was using dialidol to vote for Antonella and Sundance. She called me queer and thought nothing of it. When they were
booted off, she proceeded to mock me and the site. I told her Sanjaya was now the golden boy, which didn't faze her because of how terrible he is. When Sanjaya survived last week, she blew it off because he was in the bottom 3. I told her how Stern is backing him, she didn't care. Last night, when Sanjaya was safe again, she became enraged and started screaming at me. "WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS, YOU'RE RUINING THE SHOW, THEY'RE RUINING THE SHOW, IF HE WINS THEY'RE GOING TO CANCEL NEXT SEASON, ON AND ON AND ON..." Whoa, she sounded just like those dumb fucks in your mail bag. I couldn't stop laughing at her. I told her to stfu and that it was just a stupid TV show. She responded with "next week, I'm hiding your laptop".

But what really gets me though, is that what you guys are doing is ruining very talented people's chances of fullfilling their dreams that they have sacrificed for and dreamed of for so long, by swaying the vote. Yes, its official, I am a huge fan, your site rocks. I was never a fan of AI - way too cheesy for me, but I became even less of a fan after my friend who has a voice like an angel, was put at the "wrong table" as you mention on your site, as was never even give a chance to go further. when she finished singing, the whole place was on their feet applauding, and couldnt believe wasn't even given a chance, while aweful singers advanced. I have since believed that this show is not about finding talent, but the best entertainment reality TV can buy. Which is fine, its a free county, but don't pass it off as a talent search/competition. Yeah, whatever. I will be voting weekly for Sanjaya, hoping Simon keeps his promise and does leave if he wins -then maybe AI will leave too, lol! It has long overstayed it's welcome. I just have to say that the continued effort you have set up here is amazing. This show is one of the most shallow, pointless beauty contests ever to appear on television, and I am incredibly glad someone had the sense of humor and foresight to organize a resistance to mess with the network and producers of the program. The letters from the 13-year old girl fans of the show stating that you are wasting your time, followed immediately by the statement that they are planning to attend an organized protest of your website in support of some bland pop culture archetype that Paula Abdul thinks should win the "prestigious" title are in my opinion the greatest form of encouragement to keep going strong and voting for the worst. As for the matter of lawsuits, I would love to see the charges they come up with against you. This isn't a national election, this is just a way of determining whose video gets played once on MTV before they switch over to playing the videos of the blonder, whiter contestants of the season. Keep sending in those votes, I hope Sanjaya wins and that chick starves to death.

I just wanted to commend you on what a fantastic job you are doing here! The show is completely rigged. I auditioned for AI a couple of years ago with some friends. We all have extensive music backgrounds (we all sang in our college choir, at open mics, and even have had vocal training) and none of us got accepted to the next round. You know who did? Some girl wearing a tye-dye outfit, some guy who wore spikes made out of duct tape, and some pretty lousy singers that i could hear at the table next to me. If the producers want bad singers on the show, why can't one of them win the whole prize???? They, after all, deserve it. That'll teach the execs for thinking about the green instead of talent. I don't watch the show anymore, and I don't vote, but I completely support what you and Howard Stern are doing. So bravo to you, and may the worst singer win that God-awful show!
