I hope that whatever dream you people have, that there is someone who will destroy it just because they can. You have no right to screw up a lagitimate competition just to entertaian yourselves. You people rate right up there with child molesters.

I don't understand what good you think you're doing. There is a very simple solution to your animosity; if you don't like the show and what's going on...DON"T WATCH!!! What you and all of your "followers" are doing to this poor boy is terrible. You are in fact doing the same thing to him that you claim "Idol" producers are - exploiting him! You're setting this poor boy up for a life of therapy. I hope the next time you need a serious operation performed, you will give America a list of surgeons and we can vote for the worst!!! The outcome will be the same as what your doing to Sanjaya - messing with the outcome of his life!!! He should just go out next week dressed in a chicken suit, doing a chicken dance and sing "Old McDonald had a farm." No matter how awful his performance, your "followers" and yourself will put him through, which will once again dismiss someone with real talent.

Let me start off by saying that I love you site and I read it almost every day now to listen to all the teeny boppers complain, it brings much joy to my life.... I know I am disturbed. Anyway, I just read a post by a "Katie" talking about the men and women fighting to defend our rights and a wild guess on what the forefathers would make of this site. I am in fact one of those members who is currently serving his country, I am active duty and have been in for 13 years. I have spent more years in the gulf since the first war than most of the people writing in to bash the site have most likely been alive. I work in a unit of roughly 725 people and I have now made it my hobby to get them ALL to vote for this kid, last week my friends and I casted well over 3000 votes between us, every week that he makes it through and not even bottom 3 I can't help but laugh and it just fuels the fire for these rants, we love it. As far as democracy goes, this is probably the best example of how a democracy works. You pick a candidate, back him and campaign for votes. Our fore fathers would be proud. I love what you are doing, keep up the good work and I salute you all!!!

I am one of the thousands of Americans sitting over here in Iraq with nothing better to do than win Iraqi hearts and minds to the wackiness that is American culture. I agree, conditions over here suck for a lot of folks, and not knowing if you are going to see tomorrow causes a little stress. However, I would not call VFTW a meaningless cause. If there is one thing that keeps a soldier from dwelling on his possible demise, it is increased morale through diversions. There are several of us who watch AI weekly thanks to Armed Forces Network, and believe me when I say that watching that little freak perform each week boosts my morale to almost the same level as hearing my wife's and son's voices on the phone. Everybody should do their part to "support the troops". I applaud all the groups who have sent care packages and letters of support; I also applaud VFTW's efforts for keeping this slice of Baghdad in stitches. Keep Sanjaya in for the sake of the troops!!

You people all have a problem. There are so many (millions!) of people that watch American Idol and enjoy watching good contestants perform. That's why we almost make our fingers bleed dialing in for Melinda, LaKisha, and Jordin, who are all outstanding. That you are encouraging people to vote for Sanjaya is demeaning, infuriating, and just plain awful. Whoever started this is immature and needed this sick idea of FUN to keep him/her occupied. It really makes me SICK. I hate how this is turning into a conspiracy! Please delete this and let America vote for who they want..for the people who actually LIKE Sanjaya, well, they can vote for him, even if he is horrible and weak. Yet, encouraging people to vote for him because he's BAD is beyond any words.
And what is this doing to Sanjaya? He's 17, for god's sake! He probably doesn't even WANT to be on that stage anymore, knowing so many people hate him and ridicule him in front of AND behind his back. I can't believe this. This is a SICK, STUPID joke that it not at all funny. Maybe a select few dummies who are just like you—bored with their own miserable lives and harboring immaturity—enjoy this site, but the majority of THE WORLD hate it. So stop.

Hey, love the site. My wife hates it. We're both idol fans. She asked me a few weeks ago why I was plugging my laptop into the phone line. I told her I was about vote for the worst and that I was using dialidol to vote for Antonella and Sundance. She called me queer and thought nothing of it. When they were
booted off, she proceeded to mock me and the site. I told her Sanjaya was now the golden boy, which didn't faze her because of how terrible he is. When Sanjaya survived last week, she blew it off because he was in the bottom 3. I told her how Stern is backing him, she didn't care. Last night, when Sanjaya was safe again, she became enraged and started screaming at me. "WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS, YOU'RE RUINING THE SHOW, THEY'RE RUINING THE SHOW, IF HE WINS THEY'RE GOING TO CANCEL NEXT SEASON, ON AND ON AND ON..." Whoa, she sounded just like those dumb fucks in your mail bag. I couldn't stop laughing at her. I told her to stfu and that it was just a stupid TV show. She responded with "next week, I'm hiding your laptop".

You guys can vote for who you want--that's none of my business. But what really gets me though, is that what you guys are doing is ruining very talented people's chances of fullfilling their dreams that they have sacrificed for and dreamed of for so long, by swaying the vote. It is just really, really wrong. I won't pretend that I was in love with Stephanie or Brandon but BOTH of them had a rare talent and DID NOT DESERVE TO BE KICKED OFF FOR YOUR ENJOYMENT. Again, IT IS JUST SO WRONG AND DECEITFUL. You guys are undermining the purpose of American Idol and besides, do you think that people would actually WANT to watch Sanjaya in a concert tour and listen to his album?? I really hope that the producers of American Idol find out a way to get around scheming people like yourselves.

Yes, its official, I am a huge fan, your site rocks. I was never a fan of AI - way too cheesy for me, but I became even less of a fan after my friend who has a voice like an angel, was put at the "wrong table" as you mention on your site, as was never even give a chance to go further. when she finished singing, the whole place was on their feet applauding, and couldnt believe wasn't even given a chance, while aweful singers advanced. I have since believed that this show is not about finding talent, but the best entertainment reality TV can buy. Which is fine, its a free county, but don't pass it off as a talent search/competition. Yeah, whatever. I will be voting weekly for Sanjaya, hoping Simon keeps his promise and does leave if he wins -then maybe AI will leave too, lol! It has long overstayed it's welcome. Here's hoping..................... Keep up the good work!

Vote the worse.com is about as stupid as it comes. Now say this guy makes it to the top, what then when he can’t even sell a CD? So it’s really not that smart to vote the worse when the best has worked their butts off to make it into the business. This site needs to stop ASAP and try to be more productive…..

I just have to say that the continued effort you have set up here is amazing. This show is one of the most shallow, pointless beauty contests ever to appear on television, and I am incredibly glad someone had the sense of humor and foresight to organize a resistance to mess with the network and producers of the program. The letters from the 13-year old girl fans of the show stating that you are wasting your time, followed immediately by the statement that they are planning to attend an organized protest of your website in support of some bland pop culture archetype that Paula Abdul thinks should win the "prestigious" title are in my opinion the greatest form of encouragement to keep going strong and voting for the worst. As for the matter of lawsuits, I would love to see the charges they come up with against you. This isn't a national election, this is just a way of determining whose video gets played once on MTV before they switch over to playing the videos of the blonder, whiter contestants of the season. Keep sending in those votes, I hope Sanjaya wins and that chick starves to death.

I now have a reason to vote! My wife and daughter drive me crazy watching and discussing American Idol all week long. They flippin' Tivo this thing and rewatch it. They don't find it funny that I am now a VFTW participant. Always a pleasure to support a worthy cause.

I just wanted to commend you on what a fantastic job you are doing here! The show is completely rigged. I auditioned for AI a couple of years ago with some friends. We all have extensive music backgrounds (we all sang in our college choir, at open mics, and even have had vocal training) and none of us got accepted to the next round. You know who did? Some girl wearing a tye-dye outfit, some guy who wore spikes made out of duct tape, and some pretty lousy singers that i could hear at the table next to me. If the producers want bad singers on the show, why can't one of them win the whole prize???? They, after all, deserve it. That'll teach the execs for thinking about the green instead of talent. I don't watch the show anymore, and I don't vote, but I completely support what you and Howard Stern are doing. So bravo to you, and may the worst singer win that God-awful show!
