Dave and VFTW Make The List for "This Week's Biggest Losers"

TMZ.com has decided to honor Dave and Votefortheworst.com by naming both in this week's 5 biggest losers. Since we helped Sanjaya stick around, that makes very little sense. Seems TMZ isn't enjoying Sanjaya's stay... or maybe they're just mad that we called them out on their bogus story about "a source close to" Sanjaya's family. Either way, the people at TMZ honestly believe that the website is going to get sued and apparently they think Dave is straight. Once again, they didn't do their homework. But still, Dave will wear this distinction with pride! Thanks, TMZ! __________________________

TMZ can suck a dick. I think it is because you called them out on their bullshit.

They can go back to posting classy Britney Spears crotch shots

TMZ will probably face a libel lawsuit, they print a bunch of BS.

Good call!  I decided to do the same, though mine isn't up yet.  To those curious, here is what I wrote:

Alright, lets go through this again.  Votefortheworst will not have a lawsuit pressed against them.  I'm sure you in your propagandish, biased way took that quote out of context with Bill O'Reily, assuming of course this was an actual interview.  If it was, any record of it on the internet is hard to find.  Back to the point.  Anyone can be sued and logical arguments can be made for cases that don't hold legal merit.  Its true, you can sue anyone for any reason.  Do all cases have merit?  Of course not.  Furthermore, had you done your research, you would know that the FCC is, "not likely to investigate Idol because it would probably ''consider American Idol to be entertainment, like World Wide Wrestling, rather than an actual competition.''    In other words, the show is deemed to be entertainment rather than an actual competition, so therefore VFTW is not interferring with the business.  It is making the show more entertaining for millions of viewers.
http://www.ew.com/ew/article/0,,1059972,00.html

Lets explore real lawsuits now and see if there is any precedent to make a lawsuit to sue VTFW.  This past week a federal judge struck down a law that limited online pornography citing that to restrict the sites on the internet was to limit others rights to free speech.  If the federal court says that it is unconstitutional (infringing on adult's right to free speech) to put up more restrictions to block pornography from children, a far greater crime than an entertainment show, I sincerely doubt that anyone will be pressing a legitimate lawsuit against VFTW, which would infringe millions of their rights to express themselves.
http://edition.cnn.com/2007/TECH/internet/03/22/internet.blocking.ap/index.html

That's right boys and girls, we have something called free speech in this country.  A lawsuit would never succeed because of a little something called Freedom of Speech protected in our constitutional rights.

you are taking away the very principals this country stands on. you are very unamerican by takin away the dreams of many americans who deserve the right.i very much hope you all get sued and sent to another country because your support of america is the same support iraq has for us. i hope they send you to iraq where you will fit in very well.

So, remember that time where that person on the VFTW site compared those who express their freedom to Iraqis? Amazing. And sweetheart, just because it has the name 'American' in it, doesn't mean American Idol is its own country.

Plus, people have the right to vote for who they want to. Believe it or not, Sanjaya has fans (myself included, I enjoy him much more than bug eyed Phil Stacey and nasally, melody wasting Chris Richardson. At least Sanjaya has fun with the song). If VFTW said "Let's all vote for... (Candidate X) for President", and X beat Y, would that make ALL of X's voters Un-American? No. X would have had to have had enough support fall in to get the votes needed to win, because a majority of the voters had already made up their minds. Just because some uninterested voters now support Sanjaya doesn't mean we're un-American.

In closing, Kiss This, and I hope you actually learn something about people's freedoms of expression.

The very fact that this site exist is purely un-american and totally against all that American Idol stands for. It's all about people who can sing bringing some talent into this great country that we live in. But this site is dedicated to making sure that singers who are terrible and have NO TALENT are put through the competition. You people should to be ashamed of yourselves and you don't even deserve the privalage of being able to even have a website. I honestly hope that the people who are posting though threats about calling lawyers about you people go through with it!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope your spelling to your lawyer is better than on here! And as far as legal matters go or the police....are you too stupid to realize that this site is nationally recognized by the most powerful people in the world....the MEDIA! Just because this site advocates you vote for someone doesn't mean you have to....dolt.....use your own brain and do what is right by yourself!

Exactly how is this site unAmerican?  Are we promoting flag burning (which I believe is still protected as freedom of speech)?  Is it because we disagree with you and therefore must be unAmerican?

Learn about this country's rights before spouting off nonsense.
