| Nah, this is lame. I know you guys need to keep it going until late May but face it: it's over for this year. No one even comes close to Sanjaya. Phil? Eh. He looks weird and that's about it. He happens to be a pretty damn good singer and is hardly the worst on the show now.
That's why this doesn't work anymore this year! No one in the top 6 is worthy of VFTW.
There IS no worst left! The ones that are goofy-looking (Melinda, Phil, Lakisha) can sing and the ones that can't sing (Chris & Blake) are good looking. That leaves Jordin, who has it all.
So pick Phil because you KNOW he's going to last a few more weeks- everyone knows it! He's on a roll now! (Chris & Lakisha will be next) and make it look like VFTW is still relevant this year? Come on! Bow out with a little dignity, Dave... |

| For the last time, it's not about picking the worst singer, it's about picking the most entertaining person who the producers don't want to win and Phil fits the bill perfectly.

| Look, I can understand your non-comformist attitude to the mass-attraction/obsession/marketing-ploy (or whatever you believe) American Idol is, but couldn't you focus your energy on something more monumental, like (for example)helping the families of the VT victims as opposed to senselessly making fun of innocent people and trying to derail their dreams?
I mean seriously, you guys are good at what you do, but it's obviously getting old now. The novelty wore off and that's why Sanjaya's gone. Grow up.
