Nope, I will not vote for her. I'm done voting, to be honest. I think it's stupid to go from Sanjaya to Phil to LaKisha. And on top of it, LaKisha only wants to win to "make a better life for my daughter," as she says. It ticks me off that whenever anyone asks her why she wants to win, she never, never mentions any love for music, or singing, etc. It's always just for the money. I can't vote for someone like that, sorry, (Okay, in truth, I'm NOT sorry!) it violates my principles. To vote for ANY of the remaining four would be stupid, because the judges would be happy with ANY of them winning. So, play this silly game without me.

Smartie, I know this isn't VoteforSanjaya.com . I do. But, when I first came here this season, it was explained to me that the purpose of this site is not to necessarily vote for actual worst singer, but rather, vote for the 'worst' in the sense of , who would the powers that be at AI consider to be the worst. Who would tick off the judges the most. Who would make the competition look like what it really is - stupid. Using all the explanations given, I feel AI is now at a point in it's competition that the powers that be at AI would be reasonably happy with ANY of the four left! Last year, when Taylor won instead of Chris, Simon hated it. And most of America was left wondering how in the world Taylor COULD even beat out Chris D. So, if VFTW picked Taylor (I wasn't here then, but I assumed they did), it made sense. This year, none of them make sense BASED ON THE CRITERIA that was explained to me. That's why I think it's time to graciously admit defeat this year. And that's why I think to continue voting for ANYONE under the supposed concept of this site is inconsistent with it's premise (as it was explained to me) and that's, well, just plain silly.

I am sure you go to work everyday and you don't go in saying I love what I am doing, or when you get your paycheck you give it back because you are only there for the love of your job. Fair enough, Kooky. I wasn't here for last year either, and only see snippets of AI on YouTube. For me, voting for Lakisha makes sense as she is the least marketable for the AI producers, should she win, so she's the 'pick of the litter', so to speak, from the remaining four. Once the list does get whittled down, of course it's going to be harder to sort the best candidate for VFTW, but considering what's left, I think Dave's latest choice is the best. The other 3 can be marketed to an audience in a nice, middle of the road, safe and predictable manner. I'll actually watch this week and vote for the broad. I just couldn't with Phil. I hated the guy from the start.

Wow, for me supposedly having a lot to say (a lot huh? Probably as much as you did in your response to me) and not saying much, your response is evidence that I made my point clearly. And the issue of me going to work and not saying I love what I'm doing doesn't play into this. If there was a nationwide contest for accounts receivable clerks (or product design engineers, or x-ray technicians, etc.), I would never vote for the one that never expressed ANY type of love for the job. (Wow...what a boring contest THAT would be, huh?) And for the record, I agree, of the four that are left, LaKisha IS technically the worst. She's the least attractive physically and most inconsistant vocally (probably due to her lack of love for singing) which I believe will make her the least marketable, but only marginally. I think the "point" of voting for her as "worst" is completely obscured because of the fact that Simon loves her so much, and because it's not like she's in a different league in terms of ability from the other three. It sounds like we'll have to respectfully agree to disagree on this one. Whadd'ya say?
