Tony Bennett Realizes that American Idol Sucks

Tony Bennett, fresh off his guest stint on American Idol, is not happy with show. And who can blame him? He's mad about the very things VFTW has been saying for years. MSNBC reports, "The “I Left My Heart in San Francisco” singer told the U.K. edition of Time Out that his appearance on the show left him disgusted by how the show’s hopefuls are put through a wringer — and then left out to dry." When Tony also gave Simon Cowell some friendly advice, Simon shrugged him off because he was "too busy making money." Of course all of that money is going to the starving kids in Africa and not your own mansion, right, Simon? __________________________

Tony, honey, have you not SEEN the show? Why didn't your advisers tell you that the "celebrity mentor" is only on the show to shill their own product and smile at the camera? The kiddies won't listen because they have the AI producers telling them how to walk, talk, sing and shit. While others may bash Bennett for not knowing how Idol works we all have to remember that a MAJORITY of the fans that watch the show are ignorant to how it works as well. I'm glad he has the nerve to stand up against the show.. that now makes two people this season to have a dispute with the show. Pink also stood up to the show which is why she was missing from Idol Gives Back. (TMZ.com has a great set of articles on the story) It's only a matter of time before Idol isolates itself to the point where they can only obtain B or C list musical acts.
