Did Howard Stern Inadvertently Kick Melinda Off?

This is a really interesting read from Howard 100 News. It talks about the possible rigging of American Idol and what the producers thought about VFTW this year, so make sure to click read more and check out the whole thing.

"Does Howard 100 News owe an apology to American Idol contestant Melinda Doolittle? A source inside the show claims that American Idol was reportedly in a panic yesterday to put the brakes on a Howard 100 News investigation into voting on the FOX talent show. This source alleges the show decided to switch horses at the last minute, that contestant Blake Lewis was allegedly scheduled to be told to go home last night, until Idol producers changed their minds...

Our source claiming Simon Cowell allegedly said quote “F--- Howard Stern,” and added that the Idol result last night would be the opposite of what Howard 100 News reported. All of which might explain the strange subdued mood on American Idol last night. So if the last minute switch is true, Howard 100 News must apologize to the talented Melinda Doolittle.

But now, Howard 100 News reports that another source has revealed a bombshell claim about American Idol; that in 6 seasons only two American Idol’s have been picked by the viewing public, according to our source. The source claims that this season, producers of the show had allegedly decided to go straight, to let viewer votes decide the winner, but panicked when Howard Stern and VotefortheWorst.com backed Sanjaya. The show then reverted back to picking the winner, according to our source. The source claims Sanjaya was running away with the competition, until producers decided to take back control and throw him off the show in spite of Sanjaya’s alleged vote victories.

Bottom line here; three sources telling Howard 100 News Jordin Sparks has long been scheduled to be the winner of American Idol. Now will the producers switch that? There’s one way to clear all this up… release the vote results and prove that American Idol is run according to how the viewers vote. By the way, FOX Television has still not called us back after running off the phone two days ago."

I don't have a computer with a dial-up line. The only reason I have a landline is for DSL. Gizmo, when it works, is the way to go. I can get lots of calls through, but dailidol has no way to know. __________________________

Her father probably bankrolled the CD. It was most likely self-published for her 'fan base' in Phoenix. It's simple enough to do. She might have been under contract. __________________________

I think you've misunderstood ( on purpose maybe?) Clyde's points. Let me review in a nutshell: 1. Votes are not subject to a true independent tally at any point before or after the show or season is over. 2. AI manipulates both the voting and the contestants to it's specific needs. 3. On a show like "Idol gives back" , contestants are either clued in or clueless when it comes to the elimination round. Clyde did not say that from week to week contestants know the outcome. He commented specifically on the Idol gives back show. Re-read his comments and then come back and apologize. I for one do not "talk shit" about contestants. I don't think Clyde was doing that either. But I have to say i do not think Jordin is all you say she is...I think she is being marketed that way and many people have bought a ticket to that voyage. Bon voyage to you all! I'm staying on dry ground, the S.S. Jordin boat is a little too much like taking a carnival cruise with a sugar rush. Magooish __________________________

CWalker, Why is this bothering you so much? Why the anger at Henry when you know this site is all about sophomoric humor and fun and games? If it bothers you to the point you need to write things like "grow up", I suggest you stop visiting this site and reading the comments. Worse crap than Henry's charming post (which made me chuckle BTW) gets put out here daily, and if you can't take it, you need to leave. On the other hand, if you can relax and really "get" what this site is about, then you are welcome to stay, post and enjoy! We love company, but it's best when they are in on the joke or openminded enough to roll with the fun. Magooish __________________________

With all her past history, I don't consider Jordin to be an "undiscovered" teen-age talent. She's already won a couple of nationallly televised talent shows, has been in advertisments, been on tour with others, and has a big following at home. She's released a CD that could have easily been picked up by local radio. AI isn't her "breaking chance", but just one more talent contest to her.

Magooish I am not going to apologize to anyone. Jordin is everything I say she is because I know her. (something you can't say) I just think that you guys need to stop trash talking the contestants. Who cares what AI does?? they are not hurting anyone are they? So be it...Leave it alone. And BTW............JORDIN IS GOING TO WIN TOMORROW!!

AI is her "breaking chance". You people dont get it do you? What american idol does is their fault not the contestants. They dont know what AI has up their sleves. BTW stop listening to what you hear or read. Jordin hasn't "released" a CD. Yes she has made one but she did it on her own....no record lable NOTHING!!! No local radio stations play her music YET..... why can't you just accept the fact that Jordin is the best and she will win because of her beautiful voice?? --CWalker

Okay, I'll apologize for you. Clyde, CWalker3409 says she is sorry for being so unpleasant. She also says that before she writes in to anyone again, she will actually read and think about the post before she goes on a Jordin binge. Before this she was forgetting that she needed to read and understand the posting before she replied. Again, she is very very sorry for being such a bad girl and acting like someone from AI who came over here pretending to be a worster when she is really a troll with a decent command of the English language. She is going home now to stare at her picture of Jordin which sits next to the shrine she has to Jordin, which is next to her phone so that she can concentrate REALLY hard on Jordin while she power votes. But she is so very sorry. She just can't bring herself to write on her own behalf. Magooish __________________________

O.K., I've had enough... "GROW UP!!" Good reply. I can't tell if you mean physically, or mentally. I have done both. I "grew up", and out of the house YEARS ago (please don't ask how many), but I'm currently in my SECOND career (24 years in the military, and closing on 10 years as a civilian instructor). Have you moved away from mommy yet? I have probably put on more mileage, and seen more of the world than you'll EVER see, raising my awareness of "reality". Have you even left your state? The concepts I teach, and the lives I touch as an instructor have given me an insight greater than others. I deal with more talented teenagers and young adults on a daily basis than others have seen in their lives. It appears that you get all your life experience from cruizin' the Mall. We worsters do like the show. We may not watch it, but we do like it. We also like the comments from the uninformed, who haven't read the "about us" section. Try it. As for cutting people down, if you look through all my posts, I don't use the nicknames available (except when talking about the anti-VFTW crowd). Thanks for putting your name on the list. Everybody has their favorite, and it appears that this "undiscovered talent" is yours. They're ALL supposed to be undiscovered. People complained that Melinda was a "pro". Again, according to her history, so is Jordin. And if you can show me a nationally televised talent contest that Blake has won, let me know. Jordin had won two. Undiscovered? Hardly. VFTW votes for the one that the producers DON'T want to win. Right now, that's Blake. But the discussion was about someone who said that AI is purposely kicking off the ones we pick, and since we're currently supporting Blake, that's the joke: put Jordin there. I'll make a deal with you, though: If you don't put in hundreds of votes for Jordin, I won't put in hundreds for Blake. I mean, why cancel each other out. Isn't that the "grown up" to do? To my fellow worsters, sorry about the rant. Sometimes these people just pi** me off...
