Idols Score Whammies at the Grammies
Looks like Idol isn't the magic formula after all. While one former Idol at least got something at the Grammies (Carrie Underwood won Best Female Country Vocal Performance, and songwriters for Farmbot and Boomie won in 2 other categories), the other Idols left empty-handed. Major tool Daughtry rightfully lost in all categories except for Worst Performance by a Tool with an Idiotic Tattoo (he almost lost to Blake Lewis), while Mantasia, Kelly Clarkson, and homophobe Mandisa also took home nothing. Don't be sad, kids. You can still come back to sing Idol Gives Head 2.0 since you'll likely be forced to anyway. Watched 'Grammy Fashion Award Wrap' on TV Guide Channel, hosted by Lisa Rinna (insert joke here). I watched so you didn't have to...
They liked Daughtry's leather outfit for the red carpet.
They referred to Fantasia's hair as 'street style'. I think they meant 'street walker style'. They did like her dress.
They also thought Carrie had 'pageant hair' - too much spray. But they liked her dress too.
At least we didn't have to listen to the Daughtry performance they kept hyping. Probably cut on account of time, like 3 1/2 hours was not enough.

The Grammys are probably the 2nd most phoney thing compared to AI. Not to mention boring. Ratings were really down this year and they can't blame it on being shown head to head with AI.
okay, I love VFTW but I have to slap you on the wrist for a second. Mandisa is not a homophobe. She made one comment that was refering to her own lifestyle issues and it was completely turned around to make her sound like she was bashing gays. She wasn't. Seriously, this site is awesome and it makes me laugh so hard I pee my pants, but I had to stand up for my girl, Mandisa. She's the real deal!
