What a great results! We helped save Amanda and Danny and helped boot a pretty good singer like Alaina. Amanda and Danny were definitely in real danger, yet they stuck around, so great job helping to vote for them this week! Now let's get them into the top 12 and on to Idol Gives Head. Hopefully Brooke will user her beauty school expertise to really mess up Amanda's hair for her performance next week that we helped save her for. Too bad Robbie's gone so she can't fix his wig.

I was hoping Robbie would tear the wig off

Did you notice the looks on the other girls' faces? I can't for the life of me remember any names (they're all cookie-cutter except for our darling Amanda), but at least one of them had a definite WTF look on her face when Alaina pranced forward. I can't remember laughing this hard during an Idol sendoff.

I hate to say it, but I don't know if VFTW is the reason those 2 are still on the show. I think the bottom line is that they are both eccentric and offbeat enough and have actual unique personalities, that at this point in the competition it doesn't really matter if they are great singers. They get remembered and that puts them through. What's ironic is I don't think VFTW picked them because they are the worst, either. They were picked for VFTW because they have weird unique personalities that the producers would probably hate to see go through to the finish. Danny is this sassy and flamboyant kid with stereotypically gay mannerisms, but he's not the worst singer. Amanda has some personality too, and while not the worst singer, doesn't have much going on other than the Janice Joplin thing. I think the producers want them on because they bring something interesting to the show. They just don't want them to win.

I agree with Demolishedman. Even though Danny and Amanda are the choices and have both had bad performances (Danny during Jailhouse rock and Amanda this week), the worst sin either has really committed is not being bland and boring. Danny is a pretty good singer. Amanda is currently in that annoying "You have to mix it up" / "You need to stay true to yourself" push pull thing with the judges, who basically should just say "We want you to be good this week but suck next week so you don't become too popular." I think both are pretty cool in their own way, especially for this show. I guess at the end of the day, the extra votes they'll be getting from this website is a good thing.

I Love Rock 'n' Roll was from the '80s, wasn't it? I can see her doing that... might be rather amusing ^_^

Weirdest thing about tonight's evictees? Both of Alexandrea's songs from the semis were previously performed by the pets.com sock puppet. Serious. YouTube search for "pets.com spinning wheel" and "pets.com please don't go". With any luck they'll stick to the website mascot theme and somebody can have a godaddy.com wardrobe malfunction!

I believe this site helped retain Amanda because she was in the Bottom 2. Also, she sang really bad earlier this week. However, Danny is a good singer and at this stage, doesn't need this site's help.

When you vote split, someone's gonna get the heave ho. See how much time you wasted trying to save someone from our evil clutches?

Stick with the master plan Kip, and you'll quickly learn that there's a great deal of black hearted satisfaction in seeing our pick linger on and on and on...

Mmmuuuahahhahahhahahaha
