If David isn't gay, he has a lot of gay friends. I live in Phoenix and I recognize several of the guys in these pictures. Each of them is gay. I've seen David at Burn, but I don't recall ever seeing him singing karaoke at any of the bars in town. If I have, I guess he didn't make much of an impression.

Who cares if he's gay or was a stripper ? It doesn't matter if he is in the closet or out. The only people who care are the ones who are "out" of the closet. They only want to be able to say, "One of our boys won".
This is a singing competition and he CAN SING!!!!! I'd like to see him perform without his shirt on. He has one of the best looking upper bodies I've seen in years.

"American Idol" contestant David Hernandez once entertained audiences by removing his clothes instead of singing tunes, a manager at a male strip club in Phoenix told The Associated Press.

The issue is not of his sexual preference eventhough it does show the intent to deceive, I feel the real dishonor is shown in the posted pictures of open sexual behavior and what looks like a joint in his mouth and the depiction of alcohol use and what example is he really setting for what the word IDOL stands for anyway? besides lets face it his singing is worse than hormonal cats hanging for dear life on bobwired fencing.. IT IS PAINFUL TO HEAR! yeah call me a prude..

There is a guy in three of the photos with David who is wearing a black mask, alien glasses, and the 3rd from the last photo, his name is Cliff. Cliff is also a dancer at Dick’s Caberet and a local amateur porn star, you can find Cliff on the porn website www.boycrush.com .

He's terribly HOT...but I think he's ridin that fence....it'll just take one good woman (or man) to get him to jump to the other side. Regardless....his sexual preference and ability to dance naked should have nothing to do with how he does on American Idol...
Obviously he has no fear performing in front of a crowd!

VFTW is still trying to find hard evidence that David Hernandez was a stripper at Dick's Cabaret in Phoenix. We've gotten nothing but supportive e-mails from half the population of Phoenix telling us that we're right. Here are some more pictures we found of David because he decided not to make his own personal Photobucket private. The first is apparently Halloween (David went as a stripper... clever), and the rest are with some buddies, including supposedly a friend he stripped with named Cliff. He seems very comfortable with the guys and likes to take his shirt off a lot if you catch our drift. David, stop hiding your sexuality on the show. Just come out already. Be proud like Danny.
