I wish Idol would have a St. Paddy's day special tonight. Basically, it would just involve Carly Smithson dressed as a leprechaun with a wee little corncob pipe, singing "Danny Boy," then taking a shot of whiskey. Repeat until she falls over or dies of alcohol poisoning (or both). Either way would be just as entertaining and would warm this half-Irish lad's heart.
I can't say for sure how the other half of me would react, but there's only one way to find out...
Bring on the leprechaun!

She's like a really good singer except for the fact that her previous attempt like totally failed and they like planted her on the show this year to like force her down our throats.
