Actually someone already gave him a new car shortly after he was bumped off in Hollywood. Forget who it was, but he's been sleeping in a pretty nice car now.

I really don't know what you all see in this guy. His music makes Coldplay seem cutting edge. Though he is better then anyone in the top 10 that isn't saying much though. But it would be so cool if his album was successful just to throw it in Nigel's face that he made a mistake by not putting him in the Semis. The icing on the cake would be if no one from the top 10 had a successful carrer after idol is over. But i have a feeling that he would only release one cd and it would tank and Warner's would drop him. By the time his cd comes out most people would have forgotten about him. Also i can't really name a male solo artist out right now that has a successful solo carrer copying the Coldplay sound. I know about James Blunt but has his second cd been selling as well as his first.

I guess it depends on what you call a "successful" career? Frankly I think Josiah has potential for a few hit singles but not sure if global superstardom is in the cards. However there are plenty of great artists out there who are always recording and playing and touring so I think as long as Josiah can do that he'll be a success. I personally think his songwriting skills are pretty amazing for somebody that young.

I wonder why we haven't heard anything official from him or the company and just this random blog entry. Perhaps there are still some legal matters related to his appearance on Idol? I hope they don't muck it up for him

i'm so happy for this kid! he really deserves this big break. hopefully he'll do good and sell alot of albums. let's just hope he doesn't let it all go to his head!

Josiah is no longer living in his mercury topaz, it broke down. He moved back in with his parents in Morristown, Tennessee shortly after the show aired. He has been living there, and traveling back and forth between L.A. and morristown, doing business related stuff. AKA- finding someone to sign with. He has held two concerts since idol-- both which were sold out. He has a very big fan following on myspace (you can find him at myspace.com/josiahleming) He says he'll hopefully have a CD released by early summer, and then do a 40 city tour. He has already sold over $$40,000 worth of music via myspace (well worth my $15!!) He's doing well. Hope this helped everyones questions. Also, Majic 95.1 from Fort Wayne, Indiana helped get him a car. It's a little gold car, a 2000. He looked very greatful..
