Worster Josiah Leming has more and more to smile about these days. Knoxnews.com reports that Josiah recently signed a major record deal with Warner Brothers Records. He also has a lawyer and agent who made sure the deal was good to go. We're glad to hear it. Congrats to Josiah for being one of the only contestants who didn't crack the finals to receive a major record deal. This is big for him, and we couldn't be happier. VFTW victory! Next up: Danny Noriega and Amanda Overmyer's big plans.

No matter what it sells, it should sell more Carly Smithson's inevitable waste of plastic.

Good news for Josiah. At Yahoo Mail today the opening news story is the announcement that backups to the AI Top 10 Tour will be allowed. Amanda and David H. are shoe-ins for consideration, and the author wants a write-in campaign for Josiah. Interesting.

I haven't seen any mention of this anywhere on the site, but since the brief paragraph next to the picture says "Danny Noriega" and "big plans" in the same sentence, I thought I would pass this along. Apparently, this is legit. Check it out.

Melinda, unquestionably the best singer ever to appear on Idol (VFTW darling Chris Sligh said the same thing on his review of her itunes single "My Funny Valentine"), does have a record deal in place. The eclectic (her adjective) album is expected out some time in June. I don't know about Josiah. He is an unusual and sometimes charming kid, but I can't get his abomination of "Stand By Me" out of my head. Good luck to him, though.

You're entitled to your opinion because Music is an Art form and therefore subjective, but I have Melinda as a close yet distinct second to Fantasia as the best singer on American Crapfest, ever.

Let's agree to disagree however because whomever is third is a distant third. If all the Crapfest competitors were to compete together it would be an utter crime if Fantasia and Melinda weren't the two finalists, just as it was a crime that Melinda didn't win last year.

Pay attention Archuleta and Dadchuleta. The best talent doesn't always win. Sometimes a plant's roots run deep.

It will be even better. He already sounds amazing without any studio enhancements. So, I'm sure his songs are going to be even better now. I can't wait.
