Guess we shouldn't be surprised that this part of AI is rigged as well. I find it pretty hard to believe that "This Is My Now" was really the best fucking song out of 25,000 entries.

When I read this, I was tempted to make an entry, a real Worster entry, because I can write a shlockfest steamer of a song with the best of them. :)
But then I read the part about having to sign a contract...and a joke isn't worth that.

I shouldn't be surprised but it still pisses me off. Especially since "this is my now" has got to be one of the worst songs in history. Ever. If these people are professional or semi-professional why the hell can't they come up with a better song? This does seem to be a theme with Idol. They are shoving these plants down our throats and they suck too. Seriously, would it kill the producers not to be assholes?

The lame songwriting contest is back on American Idol this year. Should you enter? Of course not! AmericanIdolExposed has a great site that explains just why you shouldn't waste your time. Among the reasons:
Notice how when the voting starts up, the songwriters aren't listed? How have the plants infiltrated everything associated with American Idol? Isn't it about time American Idol stops blatantly lying to its viewers?
