I am with ScottBaio on this, lotta sour grapes I'd say.
These claims can't be substantiated so he is just looking
for more tv time than being the Starz OnDemand host. Oh and he is totally outclassed by Screech on that VH1 shit show

I so agree with you how does dunkelman know he was only on season 1 that's it. I've said it before & i'll say it again vote for the worst wil do anything to get idol off the show. I seroulsy doubt that the producers would had the host a piece of paper & say read this with somebody's name on it they want the best to win not the worst unlike this stupid Brian dunckelman was fired b/c he was adding anything to the show. Taylor wouldn't had won if this site wasn't voting for him.

Wow, Brian is bitter. How reliable is this since he actually came back to host/ talk over the first season of American Idol Rewind? That might just mean that he's the biggest hypocrite ever. I agree with a lot of the other posts that pointed out why a lot of this is incorrect.
-For the show being fake, with fake tears, my biggest doubt about this is that most of the contestants were not good singers and I somehow doubt their acting was any better. I'm a big Kelly fan but has anyone seen From Justin to Kelly?!
-I don't think any of the seasons were rigged. I remember someone actually leaking the number count results and it was clearly accurate. It showed Kelly finally gaining the lead at Stuff Like That There which makes sense since many loved that performance. Also, he wasn't there in season 2 and that kinda goes agains what Carmen was saying in that they favored Clay.
-Seacrest going off script is not a bad thing! Does he not know how to adlib? If not, he's not much of a host. In general, I believe the Seacrest scheming part. (Did anyone even really like the second female host? I can't remember her name but I hated her the first season and I don't think anyone even wanted her to stay!) Good for Ryan, I say.

Thank you. I didn't hear anywhere about him saying the votes were rigged either.
And for those who say the kids aren't good actors...what Dunkleman was referencing was when they re-shot the fight, they put glycerin tears in the eyes of the kids who were crying in the re-shoot for realism. Ugh.

actually i dont know about brian but he quit after the first season and i dont remember him...

Yes, I hate Idol! He's the worst contestant on this show! We need to get Idol off the show immediately! Come on, Worsters! Wait... waht?
Let me clarify, because I've read Pistonguy's other posts and do not want to be lumped in with the fantard. I absolutely believe this show is fixed. No doubt about it, your votes do not matter. I just question Dunkledore's motives for coming out with all this crap.

Because the "gag order" is up, so they can speak freely now. Apparently, they were under contract and could not say a word about this crapfest. We talked about it not too long ago in the media thread and someone mentioned that the Season 1 and Season 2 folks should be able to start talking now.
With Clay, Dunk claims he found out from someone "who MIGHT work on the show."

See and this is where Idol is smart. Put a gag order on these people so they can't speak about it for 5-6 years. Then, when they finally do, the idiot Idol tards don't believe them and think they are crying "sour grapes." If he were lying, don't you think the producers would come after him?

-Dunkleman says the show is fake, that there are re shoots for dramatic effect, with lots of fake tears.
-On his first show, one of AI's producers poked him in the chest and cussed him out because he was comforting to a contestant, and didn't torment them further.
-Dunkleman believes the show is rigged and to decide who's going home, the producers "write a name on a piece of paper and hand it to the host, and say read this."
-Clay Aiken received more votes than Ruben in season 2 but Ruben was given the title anyway.
-Seacrest was scheming to get Dunkelman off the show from the start, and sabotaged him by going off script, leaving Dunkelman with no set up for his punchlines.
