Brian Dunkleman Alleges that American Idol is Rigged, Fake

If an American Idol host was ever a Worster, it would be Brian Dunkleman, the man who hosted with Seacrest during season 1 before vanishing. In his recent radio interview with Adam Carolla, Dunkleman let out a few interesting tidbits. Who knows what he actually knows, but it would be interesting if what he says is true:

-Dunkleman says the show is fake, that there are re shoots for dramatic effect, with lots of fake tears.

-On his first show, one of AI's producers poked him in the chest and cussed him out because he was comforting to a contestant, and didn't torment them further.

-Dunkleman believes the show is rigged and to decide who's going home, the producers "write a name on a piece of paper and hand it to the host, and say read this."

-Clay Aiken received more votes than Ruben in season 2 but Ruben was given the title anyway.

-Seacrest was scheming to get Dunkelman off the show from the start, and sabotaged him by going off script, leaving Dunkelman with no set up for his punchlines.

I can't listen either. Dunkleman's voice makes me want to take an acid bath.

Something that caught my eye, though I'm sure it's been mentioned before: he BELIEVES that the show is rigged?

So there's no actual physical proof of the note-passing decision?

Believe me, I'd love nothing more than to have hardcore proof that AI is an absolute crapfest.

I'm bent on the idea, but it'd be nice to have PROOF (I daresay my friends are tiring of my inane ramblings).

Hey Scott,

I pretty much agree a billion-Quadrillion per cent with your assertions.  If I was booted off a show that became the #1 show on TV and it was rigged, I'd sue them, then sell my story to the tabloids, starting Season #2 -- Not season 7 as the show seems to be swirling the toilet bowl.

-- Also, which is worse, being fired/quit from the #1 show on TV, or getting death threats from Screech on Celebrity Boot Club: My life SUCKS.

Thanks for the backup, Prof. Badonka-Dunkleman's timing makes this whole rant suspect. Non-disclosure agreement or not, if he truly cared about Idol's treatment of these young people rather than self-promotion, he would not have waited for so long to come clean.

Rule of thrumb: If your career has sunk to the level of having a drunk Screech threatening to gut you like a pig on national television, you should probably go ahead and just relinquish that spotlight for good.

Now will you people stop telling me to listen to the interview already? It's not gonna happen! I'm L-A-Z-Y!

Oh, Tempe, you said "deviod." I only said something because I was sure you would want to fix it.
Best wishes from
