I didn't mean that Kelly was less successful than Carrie, I meant that right now, Carrie is topping the charts and Kelly is not.
Overall, of course, Kelly has sold more, but in this "what have you done for me lately" world, Carrie is "now" and Kelly is "then."
There is nothing wrong with "then," unless you're in the top 24 and have to sing 60s songs with the threat of being called "old fashioned."
Kelly coped with depression because she was no longer topping charts over and over, but has bounced back... not to the same degree, but still coming back. Carrie, on the other hand, has had continual sucess ever since winning. Hard to argue with consistency.
If we wanted to get technical, I would say that out of all the Idolists, Jennifer Hudson is the most successful, because of the prestige of winning an Oscar. Many singers win Grammys, but only a select few actors win Oscars, and she got one on her first attempt?! Quite an accomplishment.

You know VFTW knows everything before anyone else does. So listen up when we say some news is going to come out that affects Jordin Sparks' career. And it actually made us feel kind of bad for her. Keep your eyes peeled in the news for this one.
HINT: The news about Jordin needing to rest her vocal chords is just the tip of the iceberg. It's not all out yet.
