Has anybody seen the commercials for AI the past few days? Each of the final 5 contestants says a quick quote. Jason Castro says something along the lines of "You can't mess up, cuz there's no starting over". Pretty hilarious after Brooke did exactly that last week and wasn't even bottom 2.

I'm definitely going to "head down" to my local record shop to "pick up" this album full of "sweet tunes" because Phil Stacey sounds "right on" and "digs Christ."

Then I can "pop in" the CD to my mini-van disk changer and "cruise around" town or "hang out" with the "cool kids" while "jamming" to these... um... "neato sounds."

Right, kids? Kids? What do you mean I'm embarrassing you? Your old dad can still "rock out" with the best of 'em!

What do you mean I'm a "lame-o?" No, really, what does that word mean? You know, I've had just about enough of your backtalk!

Hey! You watch your language in front of your mother! That's it! Go to your room, young lady! And you'll stay there until you learn some manners, missy!

Kids these days...

I like this site! WAY!

I like Idol, but I love all the hammering you guys do on everyone here. Idol should have one of you guys as the guest judge, you know.....it'd way add some much deserved flava to an otherwise vanilla broadcast.

But then in the same day, you actually call Phill Stacey's album not bad? I didn't think I'd ever read that on VFTW.

But that's what keeps me coming back for more!

Heh!

Phil wasn't a plant. There's no reason to go after them personally, but rather TPTB that fuck with the show. (Exception: you're a lying whore who perpetuates the agenda of TPTB for your advancement.)

That's one thing I like about this - we're not really trying to destroy the individuals, we're trying to destroy (or reform) the show. Unfortunately, the most effective means of doing that might be to step on some people's toes in the process. War is ugly sometimes.

But now that Phil is out from under the draconian contract of American Idol (and a VFTW supporter) there is no reason why we shouldn't help him promote his new album.

This album is MADE OF AWESOME. I am not fantarding for Phil Stacey. I AM fantarding for the album. It's one of those where you sit back, listen, and not only enjoy the music but feel so much better about life and the universe afterwards. Has a few Christian songs but mostly songs with good messages about life. Uplifting in a good way, not a hokey, syrupy, sacchariny blech way.

Also love how he incorporates the traditional Irish blessing in one of his songs. "May the road rise up to meet you..."
