Paula Abdul Proves that The Show is Rigged Behind the Scenes

Watch Paula read the lines she was fed by producers to say to Jason after his second performance. She says these after his first performance. The audience laughs at her since she's commenting on a performance that hasn't happened yet, and Simon and Randy look mortified that she messed up so bad. VFTW Victory! Even her "save" was pathetic. She then said the comment was meant for David Cook. Except the comment was "you're not fighting hard enough" and her comment for Cook was "fantastic." You go, Paula. Mess up more and expose the show!

This is so much fun. I'm thinking that both the show is rigged and Paula is drunk. Well, she's always drunk but tonight she had a little too much.

From the idol board..

They are probably having a meeting right now trying to figure out how they are going to fix this....

Nigel: Paula. That's it. You ARE signing up for AA TOMORROW.

Simon C: You were beastly.

Simon F: Normally good for the entertainment factor, but you clearly had one too many tonight. You're now on probation. Coke only in the cup.

Bruce: Oh man, we're s c r ewd.

Paula: Whatever, I mean, I covered up good. Remember? I just got confused. No, uh. What did I say?

Randy: Uh. You kind of pretty much said you were reading your notes for David Cook thereby telling him he sucked, after which you said he was awesome.

Paula: I did?

Simon C: Disaster, Paula. Utter disaster.

Paula: Whatever, I just got carried away. Everyone's used to it.

Simon F: Disaster indeed.

Nigel: Paula you just say that you thought it was last year and it was lil Sanjaya you were critiquing. Or it was just an old note you still had in your purse which you read by mistake. Or you forgot to take your meds today and your back is killing you just too bad when you are now begging to be a dancer on DWTS next fall.

Ryan: Oh man. Someone's in trou----ble!!!

Nigel: Hey, got an idea, lets get Neil Diamond to come on tomorrow and tell everyone how "bad" he thought Jason was

Ryan: Didn't we already have Andrew Lloyd Webber do that for us last week?

Nigel: Do you think anyone will notice if we do it a second time?

Paula: (Lifting her head off desk) Hu, wha.....Andrew who? (head drops back down on desk)

Nigel: Okay, here's your story. Paula? Paula. Pay attention. You need to be telling the SAME STORY to everyone tomorrow. No embellishing details. This is what you ARE going to say... On seconed thought, Paula you just stay home and be quiet, I'm sending Randy and Simon out on all the news circuit to do some damage control. Just minimize everything and act as if it was no big deal. I'm sure the public will buy anything you say, since we have always gotten away with everything in the past.

Well, this isn't about it being fixed. It is just proof that the judges comments are about the dress rehearsals. This is old news, Carmen Rasmusen was on FOX NEWS talking about this a couple years ago. The judges don't comment on the performances you see on the stage, they write (or the producers or someone else write is more likely) their comments before the show based on dress rehearsal performances. Not that the show is not fixed, we know they want a battle of the Davids, but this was a different issue. Honestly, what I am most surprised about is that they did not edit it out! The show is not actually "live" on TV in the east is it??? I'd figure it is tape delayed a couple hours?

Paula made it worse by trying to cover it up. I guess if there were nothing to hide, she could have just said, oh sorry these are my notes from the rehearsal. The fact that she even thought he already sang two songs shows that he could have sang amazingly well and he would have still gotten the same comment.

I agree, TRP. The "dress rehearsal" scandal is nothing new. In fact, the recaps of them all singing at the end of the show are from the dress rehearsal. You can really tell sometimes...the camera angle is a little different, the song is sung a little differently, etc.

I laughed so hard at the contestants reaction...just blank stares. Hysterical.

Also, I have to say...this is not some government conspiracy; stop taking this so seriously. It's just a TV show and a game show, at that. It's fun...it's entertainment...and it doesn't get anymore entertaining than that!

The show's rigged. So what? Like "Deal Or No Deal" isn't? The show has jumped the shark, for sure; but I hope this isn't the last year. It's fun. VFTW is fun.

I think that because of this whole hilarious situation, Jason's going to stay another week.. they can't afford to have something liike that happen and then actually boot Jason, because then the whole country would know it's fixed..I feel kinda bad for Jason, sucks to be him..

But I think sadly Brooke will go home tonight and Jason will stay...

What Paula did was pretty funny but not for what every moron on this site is saying. Jason Castro's performances are so dull and boring she probably felt like she sat through two of his performances. No matter what this site does or says American Idol is still the most watched television show in the country. The show is going to be on for as long as the producers want to keep it on just like The Simpsons baby people tried to bring it down but look.... they are still making new episodes. American Idol also does a lot for american and african charities what has vftw done for charity.......not a damn thing cuz all you creators of this website did was create a website, while living at home with your mothers, that could make it to where you never had to get a real job. You guys haven't done anything but the same thing you accuse American Idol of doing...and that is making people think they are making a difference voting when it's all fixed. You say American Idol is fixed or rigged then why do you tell people to vote on something that no matter how many votes are made it won't affect the outcome on who wins. People love the drama of the show and hearing good singers that's why it's the number 1 show in the country. And how can Paula messing up be a victory for vftw you guys had nothing to do with it. Just remember to whenever they stop doing American Idol (by there own will) you guys will be out of jobs.

Allow me to "criticque."

1. Your user name sucks.
2. You haven't made any valid point that hasn't already been brought up before, at least up to this point in this post.
3. Your user name really sucks.
4. Your mother probably soldered her vagina shut to never allow anything related to you come out of there again. This isn't really a "criticque" but more of an optimistic wish.
