Paula Abdul Proves that The Show is Rigged Behind the Scenes

Watch Paula read the lines she was fed by producers to say to Jason after his second performance. She says these after his first performance. The audience laughs at her since she's commenting on a performance that hasn't happened yet, and Simon and Randy look mortified that she messed up so bad. VFTW Victory! Even her "save" was pathetic. She then said the comment was meant for David Cook. Except the comment was "you're not fighting hard enough" and her comment for Cook was "fantastic." You go, Paula. Mess up more and expose the show!

browns,
Your comment is ignorant and retarded. You should do a little more research before you attempt to slam a website and the people who run it.

VFTW raised money for charity, check some of the older posts in here and you’ll see. VFTW didn’t pat itself on the back and show off our charitable donations. So it’s no surprise, since you aren’t a worster, that you have no clue about what the site has done. VFTW has a team for the Relay for Life, so the site raised money and sponsored a team that will donate their time as well as money for the relay.

Just because someone runs/creates a website they have to live with their mom? Everyone that lives in California is a surfer and everyone in TX is a cowboy? You are a moron.

The voting may not be fixed, but AIs purpose for the judges is to try and slant the vote towards the contestants that the producers want to keep around.

There's always the possibility that Paula's odd brand of inarticulateness is not her trying to THINK (put her thoughts into words), but trying to REMEMBER the words she (or whomever) already determined.

Compare the way President Bush talks. It's similar. And it is a known fact that he has people who make up key phrases for the President, cabinet and staff to use when talking about each issue. It's their way of making sure the message they want to convey gets across to everyone the same, regardless of who is doing the talking. It's an ancient political technique. [Example: that U.S. legislator who got carded by the Capitol security, and then assaulted the guard, said "much ado about a hairdo" in every interview, whether it made sense or not).

I think this may be true regardless of whether Paula herself or someone else makes up her opinions in advance.

That may be a valid point, but you have to admit that the producers and writers and Fox execs do all KINDS of things to make the show terrible that we can't do anything about:

>Hour-long results shows

>Actually, ANY results show longer than five minutes

>Neil Diamond Night! Show tunes! Yet another performance of "I Have Nothing"!

>Ford music videos

>The group songs, complete with choreographed walking.

>Coca-Cola shaped couches

>A new set every season that manages to look exactly like last season's set

>Call-in question segments

and the list goes on ...

Oh, "this one show" was rigged, huh? Meaning, the rest obviously aren't?

I think I'm understanding more and more, reading comments across the blogosphere, why our country is in this mess. Everybody is more willing to drink the Koolaid than admit they were cheated.

what the fuck is wrong with you.

1.) Look at your name...... that's pretty stupid
2.) The valid point would be this website tries to sway the vote by having people call in to vote for their "idol", but then go on to say the show is rigged and they put through whoever they want, so that being said your vote doesn't matter so why vote in the first place.
3.)"Your mother probably soldered her vagina shut to never allow anything related to you come out of there again. This isn't really a "criticque" but more of an optimistic wish." How fucking old are you 12? Grow up and get a life you fucking loser. and why don't you read someones post all the way or in your case read it twice or even better have your mom or dad read it and then explain to you what it means. I am going to create a list for you so you understand what I am saying .
1.) American Idol raises millions upon millions of dollars for charities.
2.) They don't pat themselves on the back and show what they did they show you what all us voters did and thank us not themselves.
3.)"Just because someone runs/creates a website they have to live with their mom?" thats more of a statement than a question, but I will try to answer you statement by saying no not everyone that creates a website has to live with there mom, but this website that thrives on conspiracy I would say yes they probably did create this in their mothers basement while being unemployed or "in between jobs".
4.) what is the deal about cowboys and surfers.......MORON.
5.)The judges are not there to slant the vote, they are there to express their opinion based on the singers performance. If there opinions agree that someone was good or if someone was bad whatever it doesn't matter it's our choice they're not holding a gun to your head why do you think fans boo when contestants are criticized? because they disagree with the judges.
The fact of the matter is Simon, Paula, and Randy could come out and say vote for ex.) Syesha Mercado she's the best. but no matter what they say I can vote for whomever I want.....that's why they tell you to call in and vote for your favorite........wake up man.

>>how utterly unfair is it to tell a contestant that he sucks before he even gets to sing the song they're reviewing

On the other hand, it might be an advantage. If you can roll with the odd turn of events (and who could have been more mellow about things than Jason ?), you've basically been tipped off about how to improve your performance. For once, a contestant got the judges' advice while it was still useful/before it was too late.

You can say it was a hit on David Hernandez if you like, but I thought he did a terrible job the week he was voted off. Song choice can make the difference between good and great, but if it makes the difference between lousy and great, the problem is very likely more with the performer than with the song.
