Chris Sligh's debut album, Running Back To You, is in stores today, so pick up a copy and support him. From what we've heard, the album is really good, and features Chris's signature vocals and songwriting abilities. Sadly, there is no track called, "Hi, Dave." Maybe it's on his next album ;-) You can find the album at a local store near you or online here (Best Prices we've found: $9.99 at iTunes for the download and $10 at his official site for the physical CD):

"Post the image on the photochop thread on the forum and someone will do that for you."

Someone already has, actually.

I ordered mine in today at Mitchell Family Books.

One of the worst and most annoying contestants EVER to grace the American Idol Stage. I would sooner buy a CD from Jim Verraros or EJay Day! Never in a million years would I listen to this crap.

Re: the cover art: While shopping with my best friend today, we passed the CD on a shelf, and she said: "Oh, look. The Osbourne kid got fat again and recorded an album."

...and she was serious...

His pic looks like he should have "this missing child was last seen with" written above it.

He should have named the CD "Making Hasslehoff Cry" .. then people would remember who it was =P

Well, good news and bad news on Sligh's album.

The bad news is that it's a partial rehash of his Half Past Forever CD, so if you already own that one, you'll have a second copy of a bunch of those songs.

The good news is that there are some great new tracks on this one.

I'm not sure I would have gotten it had I known there would be so many Half Past Forever songs on there, albeit ones I liked.

It is unapologetically Christian. It's good music, but if Christian makes you want to run screaming in general, keep that in mind!

Chris posts on the forum here at VFTW, and said he chose that photo quite deliberately. This is an album that is just him, no hype, no bullshit. Good on him!
