Top 4 Spoilers

As always, VIA TMZ.

Everyone's Favorite Stoner- "I Shot the Sheriff" and "Mr. Tambourine Man"
Gaspy- "Love Me Tender" and "Stand By Me"
Big Head- "Baba O'Reilly" and "Hungry Like the Wolf"
Snoreesha- "Proud Mary" and "Change it Gonna Come"

Archuleta's picks look terrible, so that should be fun. Cook singing "Hungry Like the Wolf" should be a train wreck. Syesha picked 2 cliché songs we can all take naps during. And Jason will do VFTW proud with a song about drugs and one that will offend the tweenies. Maybe tonight won't suck? Nah.

Never heard of any of them. But, I hope Jason does well tonight. You're right, David A.'s picks look like more ballads.

Oh sweet Jesus...

Jason? TAMBOURINE MAN? Oh I am gonna enjoy this.

He certainly has not disappointed us with his song choices.

Come on! These are all standards (except for maybe Wolf and Change). You must be an infant.

And can Archie be more cliche with his picks? Good god. He's as predictable as a Paula brain cramp.

David Cook singing Duran Duran?!? God help us all... The song was bad enough BEFORE he took a stab at it. Seriously - it's times like this I wish I were deaf again (and I can honestly say that - I had ear surgery to correct a moderate hearing loss. From the looks of this list - I'd like that hearing loss BACK, thank you.)

Whoa, Syesha is going to sing Change? She's pretty dumb because she can't pull that off. I hope this means she will go home. Zzzzzzzzzzzz. OMG, I hope Archuleta goes home instead. His choices really suck.

Jason should have done All along the watchtower. He's currently being hunted by the producers .. and nobody seems to remember it was a Dylan song originally. So if he did the Dylan version they would talk about what an original genius he is.

Gaspy ....

You and your Dad are the most predictable, cheesy humans on the planet.

I was worried that, with this weeks theme, you might not be able to find a super cheesy, overdone karoake ballad.

I should have had more faith - you found two of them.

Syesha - way to be a cliche dear

I hope Jason does William Shatner's version of Mr. Tambourine Man. That would be great for a laugh!

This is gonna be Great!

Sure, I would have rather watched Jason do Redemption Song, but why quibble when the White Boy starts getting his Rasta Groove on with his dreads swaging to the beat...

And, as I mentioned in a posting I made a week-or-so ago, Syesha needs to "get back to church" and do something more in the gospel vein rather than the Mariah/Whitney rut. My thoughts then were that she take a crack at Sam Cooke's "Change Is Gonna Come." Hey, if Aretha thought it was good enough to cover, why not our token soul sister? And maybe, just Maybe, she'll show a little leg and some of Tina's charge with the Proud Mary cover. Here's Hopin'

Cook? I can respect the Who cover (good luck on squeezing it into 90-120 seconds, dude), but I'm thinking there's going to be issues with the DuranX2 tune. Surely he could have chosen more wisely. Let's see if he pulls this one out (are there any moody covers of this song on YouTube?).

Little David... HaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHa (but you know the kids are gonna Love It. Especially those who haven't heard of those ancient flash-in-the-pan recording artists they've never heard of - Elvis and the Drifters (with Ben E. King))!
