Just watched that Idol Extra show. Loved Jason's exit interviews. He talked about how utterly embarassed he was when he was auditioning for the show and nearly jumping up and down with glee for getting out of there. I loved the look of FU I wanna punch you two in the head when Randy and Simon were trying to say goodbye to him. HAHA. They couldn't even talk to him more than a minute. ROCK ON JASON! You're so much better than this crap-fest show!

Did I hear Bo Bice hatin' on Jason last night when he said something about contestants hiding behind their instruments? I had left the room before his performance and caught just a snippet of his interview with Ryan when I came back in.

I have read through every single post whew, I rarely come here but, I am starting to wonder if I have been here in spirit all along. I signed on last year as a Sanjaya fan, and this year I absolutely love Jason. My boss said that she can almost always figure out who I'm gonna like on AI. I don't know what she meant but, I responded, that I guess I go for the oddballs for lack of a better word. Anyway, I have enjoyed this thread. I have sworn off AI (anyone have a Bible?) I know you are able to make fun out of it and I think that's great because humor is the best way to deal with crap in life. I personally get too emotional when I see the cruelty that AI does to these contestants. I would love to see AI completely exposed and then crumble. I can't even stomach watching the rest of this year and the only reason I will watch is for Jason to come back on the finale. I'm with the poster who wants a Sanjaya/Jason show lined up opposite AI.

This really struck me in the interview that was done with Jason by EW
Interviewer:
Let's talk about Tuesday night. When Simon said no one should ever cover ''I Shot the Sheriff,'' did you think of reminding him that Eric Clapton did a great cover of the song?
JASON:
You know, sometimes he says things that are obviously wrong. But no, I wouldn't have said that to him. My mom taught me never to make a person look wrong. I am just respectful. It's my place to sing a song and his place to judge.
Talk about a true gentleman.. he's it in spades.
