Afraid I might have to lean towards Archie as the next pick too. Not because of his daddy, but because the kid claims he has never listed to the Beatles or Elvis Presley. And yet he wants a career in music. Sigh.

Hey Blowjob316, If we are irrelevant, why bother coming here?
Probably for the same reason Worsters keep watching Idol and attempting to alter it's outcome - we enjoy screwing with you, and we don't mind being made fun of. The difference is, those of us that like screwing with VFTW KNOW we're irrelevant. But, in true VFTW fashion, we enjoy tormenting the tormentors.
Besides, this entire site has become what it seems to despise in Idol - a big pandering commercial sell-out. This site is pasted with ads for albums by Idol contestants that were being made fun of just a year ago. Take Uncle Fester - er, Phil Stacy, for instance. You're perpetuating the Idol model just by continuing to peddle his albums on your site. You're like the parallel universe Idol. Like Mr. Spock, only with a goatee. Identical except that you're evil.
For this reason, I'll continue to come here and take my pot shots at you (sorry, no pun intended at the recently deceased Jason).

pathologywonk,
"I think there is consensus that David Cack has been annoited by the producers to win. The next pick has to be the one that would deny the greaseball his victory. Syesha, was spared to make it easier for Cackie to coast to victory. What if all the VFTW votes went to Hobbit Boy? Syeesha is going to get all those sympathy votes etc. Maybe just maybe, strategic voting to Hobbitboy combined with Syeesha's core of stick it to the man voters might be enough to push Cackface into 3rd?"
That's JUST what I was thinking. And to add to the conspiracy theories, I strongly suspect that AI people come to the VFTW site to see who's picked, then TPTB shoves them under the train. What if VFTW picks David Cook and BAM! he gets voted off next week! That would wipe that smug, arrogant grin off his face and make up for watching this train wreck of a show all season. But if we have to vote for Syscreecha or Pimpleletta to knock Cock to 3rd place, that would be good, too. If Cock gets "voted" off next week, I can gladly skip the finale with a clear conscience.

One word: FUCK!
I knew it was coming, but there was still a tiny little glimmer of hope in this former stoner's heart that Jason would make it through for one more party. Still, what a way to go out! Made me want to spark a J, but, alas, I no longer have the hookups that my youth once afforded me.
Instead, I will show my age and raise a glass of red wine to mi bashy dread bredda Jason, showin' dem bumbaclot Idol producers one dandimite bruk out. More time!

I think most of you wanting Archie for the next pick are tweens. There is no way I will vote for that idiot who can't hardly carry a tune without needing a nebulizer. He makes me ill just as much as Clay Aiken. My God, doesn't anyone have any respect for music any more? This whole show is a disgrace by putting out talentless performers but it's ingenious because they know that there are a lot of dumb people out there that will buy that crap.

WOW! You just got the Delusions of Grandeur award! At least you got the conspiracy theory part right.

BTW, Syesha was begging for the VFTW vote. Did you see her while on their little trip giving V signs? Jason did the same thing a couple weeks ago. It's not really the peace sign, it's a code to VFTW to choose them.

I've never been here in the "off season". Are there still witty blogs? What am I gonna do when this show is done?!
I will miss Jason. My sis-in-law takes this show VERY seriously (so sad) and every week I tell her how misguided she is and that Jason is truly A.I. material.
She just stares back at me. It's funny...you had to be there.
She has good taste, though. She thinks David A is creepy, too...and she hated Carly.
"CoolTeach": I love your signature...very cool. And all the prostitots here in St Louis love David Archuleta (cue the little girls screaming), too.

They dressed up the hobbit all in blue for the ford commercial ... somebody has a smurf fetish.
Add to that the gasping suck that is his singing, the handler .. errrr .. father that grinds the organ before each performance, the totally incoherent rambling when asked any type of question, the ability to truly bomb post Idol ....
The capacity to annoy the AI producers to no end as a bonus.
It all seems to add up to Archie imo.

Oh Shit, totally forgot. I dropped a 10 spot into the guitar case of a dreaded street singer today who was doing an admirable version of "No woman, don't cry" in honor of our Jason. He completely saved a crappy business lunch.
Far it up!

Predictable. Boring. Like this season. Laaaaaaaame. Looks like the producers really don't care about ratings this year. What to do now? Well, we've gotta keep making fun of this terrible show.
