Codernove: If a caricature is what you want, I'll commission a private caricature of Archuleta and post it on this site to keep us from endorsing him. (Though I think a caricature of him with a choker chain held by his Dad would be much better. But I can imagine a Syesha caricature with MLK and Rosa Parks wailing on her with a baseball bat. And Cook's would look like something from Pinky & the Brain.)

supedupX - I think we finally agree for once. Trust me, I hate them all too. But I really think the best way to get Big Head out is to endorse Syesha.

I agree that endorsing Syesha would be a snoozer. But KKKristy was a snoozer too. Don't think about the short term fun of endorsing Archuleta everyone. Think about how elated we'll be when one of the Davids go home next week when we endorse Syesha!

i didn't know all the info out there until clown seacrest mentioned the stuff on the internet on tuesday's show. from reviewing what you said, it was obvious the previous week that paula was fed her reaction by someone else. then wasn't smart enough to cover.

then it was obvious from minute one that castro was predetermined to go. simon was brutal. and paula & simon totally handjobbed syesha on that last song. i think was to ensure she had enough votes to oust him.

come on now, didn't want him to be the one they would have to deal with for the long run. and the later they let it go, the less control they'd have over it.

also saw an article on PC Mag about hacking idol. would bet money that idol has people on the payroll using these methods to rack up directed votes. would be much easier to pull that off than blatantly misrepresenting vote counts - something that could be more easily caught & people would go nuts over.

Two open questions for everyone. I'm curious and bored tonight. 1.) Has Taylor been the only VFTW pick to actually win the whole shebang? 2.) If VFTW was around in Season 2, who does everyone think we would have backed? Clay or Ruben? I would have gone with Clay just because he was soooo over-the-top.

Because:
1. He produced this suckfest of a season
2. His VTFW caricature would be priceless
2. AI will not have any VTFW votes in their bloated vote count

Imagine the press and attention VTFW would get by calling out Nigel's piss-poor producing and not giving Seacrest the pleasure of adding our votes to their questionable vote count.

Come on, Dave, as Pauler would put it, "be different and unique" by letting the VTFWers decide on Nigel as the next worser, which means taking a much-needed voting break by giving us our lives back from this crapfest. It'll be fun!

IMO, picking Syesha will not help her advance to the next round. Consider Castro's votes and who will now receive them. Archu-D2 will get the tweentard voters who liked Castro simply because he was cute. David Cook will get the voters who liked Castro for his uniqueness. I really can't foresee any of Castro's votes transferring to Syesha. So, with the Davids both gaining Castro's votes, the added votes to Syesha from VFTW really won't make a difference at all and it will still be a David/David finale.

If you really want to shake things up and piss off idol, then, to me, the obvious choice is Archu-D2. Also, since one of the 2 Daves will win and the vote should be close, it would be better to endorse the one who has the biggest chance of failing post-idol. The finale with you guys voting for Gaspy may be the first time this season that your votes actually made a difference.

gollyruthmolly--totally agree with your last sentence. Something tells me the producers and judges really want big head to win more than archu. And this will be the one season in like 5 years where the votes come close between the finalists. VFTW votes could ironically put Archu over the top.

God, this season is sooooo boring! I literally watch it in 10 minutes by fast forwarding through most of it. I think it has definitely jumped the shark. What I wouldn't give for Nosphilatu or Sanjaya. This season's contestants are so boring you can't even come up with fun nicknames for them. UGH! There's no one fun to make fun of this season! Just some serious boringness! Yawn...
