I feel bad for David A. The father is a real ass. That is why the kid is so socially stunted. Notice how he always answers Ryan's usual questions the same way. For example, he is always saying he "connected with the song." Yet, when Ryan asks him an off the cuff question, he can't answer. His father has him trained like a dog. To think there are 4 other siblings in that family is scary. Papa Archuleta will be the Lynn Spears/Dina Lohan of singing and move on to pimp his younger kids.
David C. song choice is going to be painful! He will butcher a Roberta Flack classic. I actually think Syesha got the best choice for her style. I am sticking to my theory that they want Syesha in the final. It's the same scenario every year.
I honestly don't feel like watching anymore now that Jason is gone. I always looked forward to watching him perform. I kind even missed Brooke this past week, not for her singing, but just for her nuttiness.

Too bad it took the loss of money for this to finally happen. Just proves once again that Idol cares nothing for the contestants, just their bottom line.
I hope lil' Davey enjoys his time off from Daddy. I'm just afraid that he won't be able to perform without daddy pulling his strings and have a nervous breakdown onstage.

See, I knew VFTW choosing Archie would make him a cursed boy--First Rehabdul picking his song, and now word of his asshole father getting out. I think TPTB are setting up to boot the kid out this week. Poor boy, I feel a little bit bad for him. If you get canned this week Archie, first thing you should do is emancipate yourself from that d-bag father of yours!

YES. How about the other night when a caller asked all of them what their greatest challenge on the show has been (or something like that) and Monchichi boy just laughed stupidly and settled on "I don't know". He probably couldn't come up with an appropriate lie quickly enough, because you know he was thinking about his dear old dad and praying to his Mormon god to save him from his symbollic prison.

I'm wondering about that too. I suspect what HAS happened is the ousted singers didn't want to say anything because they probably LIKE the kid, and don't want Dadchuleta punishing him for what they say.
But yeah I wonder how nasty he got with the other contestants myself. I suspect it was very nasty.

4 other kids? Shades of Culkins much? Hands to the cheeks David, you are now "Home Alone"....run with it!
I'm thinking Simon wants to lower the age, stage parents aside, because younger kids are easier to control and turn into commercial products, whereas older contestants actually have learned at least a little bit who they are as artists and how they would like to be viewed.

What's interesting in this site, is the ego by the site master equals those of the Idol Producers.
Each year, as your "picks" get voted off anyway, it comes down to the end, and you pick someone who is actually a favorite to win anyway, so you can sit back and bask in your glory and take credit when it happens.
I can't stand Monkey Boy either, but he's got it in the bag. They're already laying down tracks for his cd I'm sure.
Wimpy pick by you guys.
