>>When Ben Stiller and Jack Black were dancing to that really weird song at the finale, was that IronMan on the right? Dunno the actor's name, sorry.
Yes, that was Ironman, a/k/a Robert Downey Jr. [Yes, kids, I know someone else already said that in the comments for this article, but I guess JC didn't see it. Too baked???]

On a previous post, I have said my thanks for all the recaps that you guys had done this past season. I cannot say "thank you" enough. Although your picks didn't last that long, I must emphasize that you've had a couple of major VFTW victories and are as follows:
1) Exposing the truth about the contestants of season 7. Because of you, the major news networks (MSNBC, ABC etc.) picked up on the story of the contestants who had previous record contracts.
2) You guys got rid of the two biggest plants this season: Carly Smithson and Michael Johns.
3) You guys as well as most of America picked up on Paula's comments about Jason's second performance which, did not happen. The result: you exposed the fact that this show is rigged but, I think that most people knew that already (I know that the Chicago Tribune had an article on this subject on why it's only now that people are picking up on this sort of thing).
So really, you had the biggest VFTW victory already-before the season 7 premiere was even shown on TV! Way to go!!!
I will now conclude with my top 5 favorite photochops of this season:
5) Three's Company photochop (with KKKristy, Carly as Chrissy and Janet respectively, Garrett Haley, Simon as the police officer and David Cook as Jack Tripper)
4) "Talentless" photochop (parody of the movie "Clueless"; with KKKristy, Carly and Syesha on the staircase)
3) "Idol's Advocate" photochop (parody of the movie "Devil's Advocate" with David Archuleta and his father, Jeff).
2) The Amanda Overmeyer doll (while holding Carly's head)
And my favorite photochop of the season...
1) "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" photochop (with David Archuleta as Ferris, Syesha as Sloane, David Cook as Cameron and the Whatevia girl.)
See you guys next year! And for the people sticking around to see season 6 of Canadian Idol, see you one week from now!!

abc123,
"You waste your freakin time posting stupid comments on this gross website to humiliate those that are better than you."
So you waste your time to come to this 'gross website', make up a screen name, and post to US about how WE waste OUR time? That's funny.
By the way, ppl is p-e-o-p-l-e and the correct spellings are e-m-b-a-r-r-a-s-s-m-e-n-t, and c-r-i-t-i-c-i-z-e-d. Go to summer school and learn how to spell, you text messaging tard.

Oh, PS: Does your mother know you use words like "shit" and "freakin" (which everyone knows really means "fuckin"--OOPS! Oh, wait, I'm a grown up and can say whatever I want. Nyah-nyah!)
Oh, and PPS: [FLUSH]

Sorry for the delayed response.
Heather: "Yeah, except it's already been established that the older crowd has already surpassed the tweens as far as the break-down of demographics in the ratings. So no, actually more viewers would know ZZTop than One Republic."
That's why I said target audience. AI's target audience differs from the audience they have. So while it's an older crowd watching and calling in, it's teens that they are targeting, so they put in acts like One Republic, who are more likely to be recognized by a younger crowd, and have them sing with the teenage contestant, while the twenty-something sings with ZZ Top.

bj316.
Well, if they stay are we supposed to go "WE CURSED THEM" and if they leave are we supposed to say "VFTW VICTORY!" Your comment makes no sense. It's stupid to stick with one since sometimes the picks are going to leave.
And I'm getting kind of worried. Why isn't there a mailbag yet? I'm hoping people wrote in saying how "DAVID A SHULD HAVE WAWN AND HOW ITZ OUR FAWLT HE LOST!"

Random, disorganized thoughts:
-I actually enjoyed the Pips short. Robert Downey Jr. being run offstage, Jack Black following, and Ben Stiller trying to cover for them both actually made me laugh.
-OK, guys, I realize a lottalottalottalottalotta people don't, but I personally LOVE CSNY. They have never failed to get their audience on the edge of their seats. Graham Nash appearing on American Idol, though, obviously didn't do that. It was pleasant, because I love the song, but Brooke's voice didn't quite go with Nash, Master of Harmony. Other than that, though, I kinda liked it.
-What was that Carly/Michael duet? Guess Michael Johns went along with it since he couldn't get his first wish: bringing Jim Morrison back from the grave.
-A couple people have said that Cook's brother is hotter than Cook. Well, sure, but that's not saying much.

Well, we're glad this season is over. And congrats to David Cook for being the only non-plant in the top 8, and the winner. Not too shabby. But please, let's never talk about this season again. Glad to have you all along for the ride to make fun of this stupid show. We've loved you all. See you next year!
