To play Devil's advocate for a minute, if this is just a post on a message board, has anyone verified that it really is Jason's mother who said that? I thought I had read somewhere else that someone had posed as her before. As for why someone would do that, well, "no life" and "too much time on her hands" springs to mind. But anyway, I could easily go to random message boards and say that I'm, oh, Michael Johns' wife and who would know?

Someone posed as Jason a while back on DDB, and it was proven not to be him.
As for someone posing as Mrs. Castro, that was a bogus excuse posted a while back to make it seem like she wasn't behind the suggestion of having the fans raise money to send Jason's girlfriend on a mission trip.
She DID post that message about ceasing and desisting with the fan merchandise. It was definitely her, and not another money-grubbing imposter.

I'm not a teenager, but I'm one of the fans who made Jason related artwork and was selling shirts and buttons on CafePress with my artwork. The items in question followed CafePress's policies. If anything had his name on it, it just said "Jason", not "Jason Castro". There were no pictures of him unless you count little drawings like that shown on the towel in the picture of the opening post (which by the way was not allowed on CafePress like that, the artist had to remove "Castro"). Stuff that just said "Dreadhead" or "Jason is my Idol", or could in anyway be tied to Jason was removed. I was a die-hard Jason fan before this happened, but its really rubbed me the wrong way. I wasn't making much money off it, but I should be able to sell my artwork.

I wonder if Jason's mom going to send out the death squads for the Quest of the Castro Grail. He is part Colombian so be careful. You may be found with a COLOMBIAN NECKTIE!!!
This cow makes me sick. Pray for someone to release the website domain. That sounds like the idea of if I dont move and stand still on the wall, they cant see me.

Blaker, the teenager who designed the logo, owns the logo legally. Her smart parents made her copyright it. She's going to be discussing the whole thing with her parents, and realises that she's in the right. Her logo doesn't impinge on the Castro IP, so Betsy has no right to try to intimidate a child into giving up her property and rights.
Well done, Betsy. You're alienating the fan base already, before Bonghead even has a record deal?

We should start marketing shitty stuff with Jason Castro's image.
What a dumb bitch. She scared away the 4 people who would've given a shit about Jason's ass in two months.

I bet Betsy was one of those Bridezillas who asked her wedding guests for cash, and made her bridesmaids dye their hair and go on diets.

Hippie,
Who the hell cares what the Cashtro family says? This is YOUR art and YOUR work. This is bad as Paris Hilton and Donald Trump trying to patent the word(s), "That's Hot" and "Your Fired".
Jeesh!
