Two months ago, it was reported that Nigel Lythgoe was quitting American Idol to work on So You Think You Can Dance more. It seemed a little fishy, but hey, getting that old fart off the show was a huge victory for us so we didn't question it. There's now a rumor floating around that Nigel may have been fired. Hey, it kind of makes sense. The show never changed anything and continued to slide in ratings, but as soon as Nigel jumped ship, suddenly a new judge was added and format changes are being considered. If this is true, it's an even better victory for us, because we helped ruin the last season by exposing the plants, probably leading to low ratings and Nigel's dismissal. VFTW Victory!
