I was really glad that he went here in the Philippines! He had 4 shows and it was jam packed! I actually was very surprised, I didn't know he had a lot of Filipino fans. The reason why the cheers here weren't loud because of many reasons... The people who watch and know AI are the upper/middle class Filipinos, while people who watch Filipino variety shows are the lower class, if ever the lower class watch AI, people who watch ASAP don't, this is because ASAP is shown in ABS CBN while AI is shown GMA's sister channel QTV. The network rivalry between the two channels is so strong that fans of ABS CBN don't watch GMA/QTV shows and vice versa. That is why the audience here don't know him, the audience members are ABS CBN fans and are unaware of AI or at least the contestants/events with the exception of the 2 Davids and Ramiele and Cook winning.

Michael Johns, taking cues from Ramiele and thinking he can have a career in the Philippines too, performed on a Filipino show called ASAP. Guess he can only have a career singing on Idol type shows? What happened to the Beatles/Stones/INXS whatever album?
