I like Adam and Danny (I mean I like them, not that I want them in a Tatiana or Von ish way). I agree that Adam can be over the top, but not as much as Von. But my number one guy is stilll Norman. How did he make it and not Rose (okay, Rose didn't have a good audition, but I place that squarely on our friend Bikini Girl, whose 15 minutes of fame are, unfortunately, not over yet)? Norman is my go-to guy for now, followed by Tatiana (her laughing has me throwing things at the TV). I have to admit that I vote for the artists I like (last year it was Michael Johns and Cook) and not the ones I thought were out of their league (talking about you, Kristy Lee, and she was no Sanjaya).

ansible - I think they may take a page from SYTYCD and have the best buds be the two last guys in the "chair episode"...one will make it, one won't. Ah, the tension...the drama...people won't be able to tear themselves away. I can see the car wreck already.

Yes, that's the dancing one. Last season they had two girls who were bffs and left them until the end of the selection process for getting into the finals (Top 20 in that case). AI seems to be setting up the same thing with Danny and Jamal this season...always portraying them as a unit (roommates, same group) who "need" each other for support. It will help pimp Danny even more..."he's already lost his wife, now will be lose his best friend too??"

no fewer than 1/4 of the top 36 are VFTWorthy.
barring some unheard of weeding process, we should have plenty o' picks in the Top 24.

There's no top 24 this year. They will divide the 36 people into 3 groups of 12. Only 3 will advance per group and the judges will select 3 wildcards. It's much more difficult for vftw picks to make it although Adam and Von have the best chance as they have wider fan base. I'm still voting with the worsters whoever they pick.
