That makes their discussion of her sex life even more distasteful!
So TPTB want the final three to be Alexis, Danny, and Scott...but how will the fantards decide which sob story is the most worthy? It's obvious the show is in peril or they wouldn't go to such drastic lengths. If it does get to that final three, I'm putting in my vote now for Blind Scott to be the VFTW pick. At least he's pimping himself, not a family member, and he's the least marketable of the three when it comes to singing national anthems at sporting events, etc. Plus, he does have crazy looking eyes and bad hair....

So that explains it. Wondered originally why AI was telling a 12 year old mother to have more sex, being a family show and all. Then could not understand the over the top pimpage for a performance that easily could have been turned in by Haley Scarnato in a much more interesting way. Average at best singer who makes Gaspy look old and sophisticated, but she has a sob story so she must make top 12.

She did not do wonderfully, and she was merely the best of the worst for the night. Not one of those women deserve a career in music. Except for Tatiana (of course).
This is hardly low, just an observation and probably an accurate one.
If you want to criticize the lowness of pimping a contestant so her sob story can woo viewers, look to AI and its producers, not here.
I hope her dad gets a heart and lives to see his daughter grow out of her red lipstick phase.

How many more sob stories do we have to hear this season? And it is only mid-February. I hope there is a special on Kleenex this week; I'll need more boxes than usual to get through this season.

Were you wondering why, after a horrible performance where she looked like a 12 year old dressed as a hooker, Alexis Grace was told by the judges that she belongs in the top 12? Well, we found out. SoulPatrol, a poster on our site who belongs to a private message board, says that it's being passed around that Alexis's dad needs a heart transplant and doesn't have health insurance to cover the operation. It's probably going to end up as the "feel good story" of the season, but at the expense of entertaining people like Tatiana moving on. We feel bad for Alexis's dad and all, but Alexis really isn't remotely good enough to make it on this show. Maybe she'll become a future VFTW pick?
