Kelly Clarkson on SNL

She sounds better than on Idol this week, but it still sounds like her voice is shot. A little bit of rest is needed, perhaps? Also, she performed "I Do Not Hook Up" written by that musical magician of all things disposable, Katy Perry, as well as the horny, useless judge on Idol (Kara, not Paula).

So most of us agree: Kelly needs some un-recycled material, a vacation, and a new stylist - but she still rocks!

I noticed this on her Idol performance too... What is with one of her backup singers playing a guitar or bass (can't tell what it is). There's clearly 2 guitar players and a bass player already on stage in the front. Is the chick in the back really playing anything? Is the music in this song really that complex? Really???

She's on a major PR blitz kids...Yeah, her voice could use a little rest, but damn, she rocked the house! And I would gladly remove that belt off her with my teeth! She is freakin' YUMMY!

I would rather listen to Kelly pass gas than listen to any of the AI 8 contestants sing.

Yes, she's fat. Always has been. So is her wallet and her trophy case.

I kinda like the rasp in her voice.

Okay guys.. Yes she must be tired from all the promotions but she still had a great sound. Yes she is bigger than she can be but she does still have alot of money right?

I mean what is up with her stylist. Why would you put her in form fitting clothes at her heaviest. Even if that is what she wanted there are btter ways to do it for her size right now. She is not that big and there are so many beautiful outfits she can afford to buy and wear. She should fire her stylist for sure. Twice on AI and SNL the stylist got it really wrong.

Yep, for me it's always been about what musicians look like.

I mean, who doesn't have the Stevie Ray Vaughan Playgirl?!?!

That song was written by Kara and Katy Perry?

Oh, Kelly.... why have you chosen to sell out in such a sad, pathetic way?

The two songs she sang sounded exactly alike. I thought maybe SNL had done an Asslee Simpson to poor Kelly and had her lipsinc the same song twice.

Also, I don't really care if she's chunky, but why can't these 'healthy' woman find a stylist that makes them look good on camera. Kelly's dress was so ugly and tight across her big gut and butt that is was a distraction. I want to concentrate on the music, but how can you when they just shove those thunderous thighs at you.

I may have this wrong, but if I remember my Kelly history, it goes something like this: Kelly made her first CD under the AI contract and it sold well with the fantards. Then she got all full of herself and called Clive Davis an old man, refused to do any AI stuff and tried to make a CD her way, some crap that she considered real rock and roll. Which bombed.

So now she has apoligized to Clive Davis, crawled back to whatever pimping AI will throw her and is happily whoring herself to the highest bidder.

Do I have that about right?
