It should be a scandal, but I suspect it will be met with nary a yawn from the Idol-consuming public. Too bad.

Well, Adam did say in an interview that his "co-workers wouldn't leave him alone" about trying out for Idol.
And what was that? I've listened to Adam's previous recordings of his original music, which are intriguing, but this sounded like cats spinning on a turntable. It was a hot mess.

As if to imply Randy did Adam special favors and that's the only reason he's on idol and Not because he can sing. So since he can't sing and he's only there due to Randy we must get him off the show sort of thing... LOL. Wow, I never knew Adam couldn't sing well. It must all be due to him knowing Randy and I have been brain washed by the idol machine, hehe.
Seriously, Obviously he didn't need to know any one and just needed to audition. But the other thing that is funny is when idol watchers think these talented people just come out of a vacuum without ever having recorded anything or known a single person any where in the entertainment field. But the "scandal" will exist but only because non-fans want it.

Adam recorded this for an independent contractor, District 78. He may not have known that it was attached to anything to do with Randy. I wouldn't be so quick to call him a plant. It's possible, but the contractor wasn't directly associated with Jackson's show.

That's not the point and you know it. Quit trying to obfuscate. If a contestant is the recipient of patronage of any kind regardless of singing ability, it's unethical.

You may have heard Adam Lambert's voice before. He recorded a vocal of "We Are the Champions" for District 78. Since the show is produced by Randy Jackson and he probably knows where the music comes from, did Randy Jackson ask Adam Lambert to audition for the show? It wouldn't be surprising since he clearly knew Carly Smithson before she made it to the top 6 last year. Oh Randy, you're finally going to be involved in a scandal and people may finally care about your opinion for one day.
