I saw this on TMZ yesterday and LMAO.
According to them, this particular homeless woman has done this before and is known for her 'crusade'.

gee I guess when your talents lie in singing "somewhere over the rainbow for like the billionith times, marring some rich 90 yr old dude who produces records so one can sit on her ass and get fat and losing to the likes of taylor( who?) hicks (that noone gives a fuck about...)
one has to be protected from the pappanazis running about...
thanks God that homeless person was there to lend assistance..( did mcphee even give the woman a buck for her troubles??)
thank God someone was there to capture such a sight on camera..

Dude! I live in L.A. and have seen this woman about... she's on TMZ all the time. People know her as "Queen on the Scene" because she is always randomly at places where celebrities are getting "hounded" by paparazzi (read as: they call in advance to tell paparazzi where they are going to be).
She's very well known around here, and I walked past her once at the Grove. Pretty epic for being allegedly homeless. But, yeah, tune into TMZ every now and then, and you'll catch her.
Queen on the Scene, as a person, has VFTW written all over her!

Although we have no idea why paparazzi are following Katharine McPhee (who knew she was still alive?), the end of this video is awesome. After the photographers won't leave the Bumblebee Hooker of Melisma alone, a homeless woman forcefully grabs Katharine by the wrist and throws her into safety and starts cursing out everyone. Hilarious! Now if only she would save people who matter.
