I'm voting and fantarding for Adam tonight. Anyone who actually gets me excited when they perform gets my vote. If no one gets me excited, then I'm a worster and I hope that crappy people win. But not this time.

Some thoughts:
Way back, I think either during his top 36 or top 13 week, I commented somewhere here that Kris Allen was going to surprise people this season. Color me psychic.
Just halfway scrolled through some of the comments on this thread, and note that Bakura has a hard on for Kris.
All that hate has to come from somewhere......Bakura = Danny Gokey?

In response to the many comments by Bakura:
Let me begin with saying that I have been an Adam fan since the beginning. I believe he has been the best performer throughout the competition. Both finalists bring something different to stage and should be praised for what they have accomplished. America voted, and this is the result. As for your personal attacks, you obviously favor belittling those different from you to overcompensate for something in your life. You know nothing about Kris Allen or where he comes from, yet you continue to make false, slanderous comments about him. While we all have the right to express an opinion, I believe that success does not favor the type of attitude you display, nor does it favor the sheer ignorance of the "facts" you present. Also, you have spelling and grammar errors. Are you from Arkansas? No, you are not...but I am.

But most importantly, the show has become such a ridiculous vehicle to promote everything Adam Lambert, it has gotten sickening. Simon Cowell literally begged people to vote for Adam. The guest performers wear Adam's name on their clothing. Adam performs terribly and the judges praise it anyway. All the while, that other guy has been building a steady fanbase of people who are tired of doing what the show tells them they have to do. So we say vote for the other guy who blends into wallpaper. He may not be interesting, but VFTW's creed says we have to vote for the person the producers and audience would hate to see win. It's a long shot, but if the other guy pulls off the win, Adam Lambert's fans would be furious. The judges would be angry. The record execs would be forced to sign White Bread Guy. It's perfect. Adam will be signed by 19E whether he wins or not. Let's also force them to sign the other guy.
