As funny and perfect as this may seem....I wonder whether AI called your bluff this time. After careful consideration, it suddenly dawned on me that the production team at AI might have been anticipating this all along, and you played into their hands.
Stay with me on this. They wanted Lambert to be there till the end, cuz face it he was creating the controversy they needed to draw viewership. ($$$) However, I don't think they are prepared for the backlash that will follow should the guy actually get the title. There's just too much junk in the closet...and too much of society that will go crazy if/when that door is opened all the way. They can't be distracted trying to sweep up the mess.
Sure they say it is fine...but secretly I think they don't want to deal with whatever else is still hiding in there....so hmmmm what is the best way to make sure he doesn't get the title...wait I KNOW !!.... we will pimp him...we will go so overboard that everyone gets sick of hearing his name....and be so creeped out by the media hype that they vote for the underdog...whoever the hell that is didn't matter...Danny, Kris, Lil....made no difference to them (well until Lil tanked and then they quickly threw her overboard).....
so, my friends, I think they played the game better than you did this year. They are obviously aware of this gang-o-thieves...and knew that you would do exactly what you did, should they try to cram Lambert down your throats.
They played their hand, and you in turn, played right along...like misguided fools, you were grinning all the while. On the other hand, I'm not sure what you would have had to gain by favoring Lambert, so it's probably a moot point.
I just find it humorous that you think you've got the upper hand, when I think they just took you guys for a ride.
All I can say, is you may want to wise up to the fact that they have become a more respectable poker player...and up your game next season.
Thanks for the laughter though.

I love both Kris and Adam, but when it comes down to it, I'm rooting for Adam for some many reasons (superior in singing, sexy as hell, more marketable, World Idol, etc). However, I understand why you are picking Kris, but I wish you'd root for Adam just to piss off those god damned bible beaters! Some cave dwellers on one website say Adam looks like the devil.....now what the hell does the devil look like? That red guy with horns? It just pisses me off, and I would love to see a (yes) flamboyant gay guy win Idol! BTW, I sort of feel sorry for Kris' wife. She looks miserable most of the time and he'll be on the road touring with Idol. I think they're newlyweds and probably won't stay married for too long. Chicks will be throwing themselves at Kris everywhere. He'll go Hollywood in no time.

Adam is not going to win, and this "shocking elimination" will be great for 19E. I didn't realize that until I saw the screaming 12-year-olds at Kris's homecoming. They will spend every penny of their allowances on Kris albums, Kris downloads, Kris fan club memberships and Kris concerts.
Adam has been the fodder. I liked him at first, because he was different and pretty good. But all his performances are pretty much the same. He's a good entertainer, once a week, and that's really the reason they've been pimping him. Also to set up the dramatic elimination that's going to happen next week. Do you think that Adam's bad backup singer last week was just a coincidence?
19E will be happy to sign "the other guy" and happy that he wins and can then be known as "The American Idol" rather than "the other guy"

Hey those are Kris' classmates. They taught him how to read and sing, which explains his performances this season.

I assume your refering to Adam's whacking Katy so he can finally have Kris all to himself.

But most importantly, the show has become such a ridiculous vehicle to promote everything Adam Lambert, it has gotten sickening. Simon Cowell literally begged people to vote for Adam. The guest performers wear Adam's name on their clothing. Adam performs terribly and the judges praise it anyway. All the while, that other guy has been building a steady fanbase of people who are tired of doing what the show tells them they have to do. So we say vote for the other guy who blends into wallpaper. He may not be interesting, but VFTW's creed says we have to vote for the person the producers and audience would hate to see win. It's a long shot, but if the other guy pulls off the win, Adam Lambert's fans would be furious. The judges would be angry. The record execs would be forced to sign White Bread Guy. It's perfect. Adam will be signed by 19E whether he wins or not. Let's also force them to sign the other guy.
