I think this finally nailed it for me. Think about it. Cook had Analog Heart and all those Axium and MWK discs, Kris had Brand New Shoes, Adam had the thing coming out tomorrow. Someone is sending these indie CDs to the Idol producers, who then contact the artists about a closed tryout. They are picked, then told to show up for the "auditions" where all the producers/judges know who they are and are told to pick them. It is NO coincidence that suddenly all these singers have "indie records I did in my basement" out during the show. I'm willing even to say (don't hate me) that even the freaks are plants...Tatiana, Normund, Bikini Girl, Chicken Lady, even William Fucking Hung. Hell at this point I'm ready to say this whole show was started by Kelly Clarkson's managers to jump start her career, and the whole thing has come out of central casting since. They're not from Blue Springs or Conway or Bumfucking Toad Suck...they're all cloned in a Hollywood lab, every one! Yes, I'm finally saying they're ALL in on it. ALL the winners are chosen ones, even the ones that suck, and the votes are about as legitimate as an election in Iran. And I thought y'all calling Carrie a robot was just a metaphor...
And crap, if THIS is true...does that mean Obama, Bush and the rest are all plants/puppets controlled by the Bilderbergs and the Tri-lateral Commission? That the 9/11 truthers have a point? Fuck I'm really beginning to wonder if we aren't all batteries for a machine-race...
Okay, now I've freaked myself out over a tv show, for fuck's sake.

Outstanding post. I have been to Blue Springs, MO numerous times (don't ask) and eveyone in that part of the country has a peculiar accent that Cook did not have. It might be because he's transplanted from somewhere else, but it's a tad suspicious. I have seen enough evidence to be convinced that the show is mostly a scam, so to find out it's a scam 100% would not surprise me.
Oh, and I am a "9/11 truther" and KNOW it was pulled off by a vast criminal network and not a small group of Arabs (and "al Qaida" was created by the CIA anyway). And all presidential candidates are vetted by the "elite" so elections are a false choice. Same thing in Iran and everywhere else. I have unplugged from the Matrix and freed my mind. That is why I'm a Worster. Excelsior!

My best guess is that we will have to wait to find out which judges will be back. Luckily I have a friend who got the callback to return to Atlanta in July, so after I talk to them when they audition, I'll post that info. Seriously though, Idol without Cowell is like mac without cheese...just doesn't make sense. The ship wouldn't sink without Kara, so I wouldn't care one way or the other if they ditched her. But I think the day they lose Cowell will be the end of Idol as we know (and hate) it. lol

I almost guarantee Simon will be back. He's too much of a narcissist not to. I think it might be Paula who leaves. The only way the whole Kara thing makes sense is if she was brought in to replace Paula, and was given a transition period of one season.

You're over-analyzing this. MOST aspiring musicians press up demos. Singers with self-produced independent albums are a dime a dozen. It's not just a trend amongst selected idol front runners. Relax.
