He's barely 5'7! He has to be like 5'6. I met him last year when I auditioned in NYC. When I stood up from my chair, he was just slightly taller than me but barely and I'm 5'5.

I don't think he would stand on the box out of insecurity or whatever... my guess is there's a Ford or AT&T logo in the background that could only be perfectly centered if he was a little bit taller... or a giant Coke bottle... or a promo for GLEE! OMG GLEE! GLEE GLEE GLEE! ARE YOU A GLEEk? Argh, so sick of that show even though it isn't out yet.

Badger - Back when he was just a radio DJ on Star 98, he was in a segment on the KTLA morning news with then traffic reporter Jennifer York.
They were in front of a concert venue talking about ticket sales or some crap. Ryan was being his typical d**k self and giving Jennifer a rough time. Finally, she told the cameraman to pan back. Dumb a** was standing on the curb and making her stand in the street so it wouldn't be so obvious how short he was.
I wish that clip would surface on YouTube.

By the way, in case you're wondering, Ryan is about 5'7". He says he's 5'9" but he's a liar. A short, short liar.
