Poor Pauler. Maybe if she's really really nice, they will ask her back someday.

^I know, F.A.G., I kinda feel sorry for Paula. I wonder how much Ellen is getting paid? If it's more than what they offered Paula then that sucks. I've always had a soft spot for Paula and her heavily medicated antics. Heavy sigh. I don't hate Ellen, but it's going to be strange to have her as a judge.

I approve of Paula saying she approves of Ellen. Paula is always helping others. So nice, really.

I have no pity for Paula. She was fun to mock, but useless and a liability to the show. Paula dug her own hole, after she bitched about the producers on the talk shows last fall. Kara failed as the obvious replacement. Hopefully, Ellen will entertaining. Guaranteed... Paula will be forgotten by the end of this season.

Gone are the days of eagerly anticipating Pauler's drugged out comments and general delirium. That's one thing, but beyond that, her replacement with Ellen gives the female contestants a decided advantage, as no one on the new panel will be able to see any unique sex appeal that might exist in the male singers.
Ellen: Lesbian, obvious; attraction only to females.
Randy: Most likely straight; attraction only to females.
Simon: Homophobic in the truest sense of the word; if attracted to a male, will subconsciously rebel against it by consciously dissing the contestant.
Kara: Doesn't count; she'd fuck a tin can if it had a penis.

I still think Pauler will turn up on X-Factor whenever Cowell gets around to getting it on US TV.

If Pauler called DeGeneres wildly funny and talented, she must have been more wasted than usual.

Hey all..... I will miss Paula as well. Some (ok, most) of her comments were confusing at best, unintelligable at worst.
However, Ellen should bring some humor to the judging, and her technical knowledge is as good as Paula's.
I guess Paula's agent should have not taken the hard line in negotiations??

I am not a wordologist, but I noticed a few things in Paula's tweet. Saying "gr8" instead of spelling out "great" is like saying..."ehhh, she is really not so great." And saying "b" instead of spelling out "be" is like calling Ellen a b*tch. Anywho, there is a suggestion for a better replacement for Paula in this article here:http://jviz.blogspot.com/2009/09/obama-on-kanye-west-ellen-on-idol-abba.html

In a move to save face, poor Paula Abdul tweets that she is happy that Ellen DeGeneres is the new Idol judge that is replacing her:
We know Paula must be pissed off, but don't worry. A few more pills and she'll be airing her real feelings soon. Miss ya, Paula!
