Michael Sarver Actually Gets a Record Deal. I Know, Right?

Seriously? Michael Sarver has signed with Dream Records, a small record company affiliated with The Dream Center, which does non-profit work around the country. It seems odd that a non-profit organization would have a record label, but we didn't see Michael Sarver making a profit from singing anyway, so this seems about right. The label is apparently a Christian label, and Michael plans on releasing a country album. At least he finally listened to us and dropped the pretense that he's an R&B singer. But hey, the guy got himself a record deal, which was more than we expected, so good luck to him and we'll see how it goes.

oh hell yeah! I can't wait for a michael sarver cd where he will force out bad r&b and call it country! I wonder how he will ever choose between the 1,000 songs he wrote when he was 12 years old! quality stuff for sure. O_0

Considering country radio will play fucking anything, this probably has a better chance of success than the other Idol alums have. Sad thing is, I like genuine country music. Sarver's just driving yet another nail into the coffin of a formerly good genre. Oh well.

At least the "label" (if you could call it that) has low expectations. They're not going to make any profit with this forgettable porker.

That picture of him is probably exactly how he looked when he heard the news. It was either that or the Scooby Face.
