The Jedward train rolls on for another week. Simon voted to save them and by doing so sent it to "deadlock" where the public votes decided that Lucie was to go home to her little village in Wales.

They really do go all out with the props, don't they? They also get a lot of stage time, too.

God, I love Simon.
Reasons to save Jedward:
1. More viewers.
2. Simon hates Dannii.
3. He knows they'll be in the bottom 2 soon enough and can get rid of them at will.
4. More media hype.
5. More votes = more money.
6. They were more entertaining in the sing-off than Lucie's Broadway-ish performace.
7. Lucie acted like a smug, selfish bitch.
8. Jedward are amusing, in a trainwreck way.
9. Repeat all of the ones that result in more money.
I know that Dannii will vote for anyone against Simon's acts, now. Meh, Ollie's the best of his three, so as long as he's there, it's all good.

It's just as good as we hoped. With the twins' famous ad-libs, some shrieking, lots of ghoulish figures, and even the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man. John and Edward are making VFTW proud on the UK's X Factor, and we'll find out tonight if they'll live to fight another day. The boos were even louder this week than normal, they must be loving it. After this, can American Idol 9 be anything but a let down?
