Chan - that Field bet is looking good! Vegas took Jasmine and the Dueling Penist off the board and put Allison and Megan up (both as longshots). Adam's odds got a little better, but still behind Gokey. Don't worry though, you get the Field as it stood when you made the bet.

I prefer the Scizotch myself, but it does take something to get through 2 hours of this.

I could see myself at an Adam Lambert concert (bring back screaming glam rock!), but could you see yourself paying money to see Fat Sweatzke sing on stage? Adam's believable as a rock star. Even moreso than most of the past AI winners.

And of course Normund was the greatest moment in Idol history! I want more Normund!

Allison all the way for me now - this is what I really wanted to see - someone who hadn't been pimped who just strolled up and announced she was there to win the damn thing. Go girl!

Kris Allen, A. Nice voice, gutsy song choice, I was impressed.

Megan Joy, B. Smooth jazzy sound, looks like a cross between Carrie Underwood and Reese Witherspoon.

Matt B, C. I agree that the Tonic song is awesome, but it lost some of its flair when he sang it.

Jessie L, B-. Not great, but not bad. And, I like that song. But which one carries the real last name? Is it really Jessie Lang, or is it really Johnny Langseth? I'm guessing the latter.

Kai, C+. In the words of Simon Cowell, cruise ship or hotel lounge. Better yet, karaoke bar.

Misha, A-. A lot of you weren't impressed, but I was. And I liked the Train song.

Since when has AI ever done anything because its right? Matt G is through to wildcard, Kris is screwed.

Dialidol has been deadly accurate since last week. The 3rd spot on their list is between Matt Giraud and Jesse Langseth (who knew she had voters). Most likely Matt G. will have 3d and they will invite Jesse or Kris Allen for wildcard.

Believe it or not Tom, DialIdol claimed they got it right. The reason is that they have a HUGE statistical margin of error. This will be very accurate on the top 2 vote getters and the bottom outliers in the old system. However, anybody from position 3 to 12 can interchange position. Which is very convenient but that's the old joke on statistics. Next time, I will only pay attention to the top vote getters as the 3rd spot can basically be anybody (including Normund Gentle).
