Simon tells Bowersox, "there are thousands of people doing this same thing outside of a subway station at the moment." Maybe 19E could get about 9 more of them to replace the no-talents in the top 12. I don't think any of these 'semi-finalists' but Lily Crystal and Sioban would get enough money in the hat to make busking worthwhile (singing anyway...). I mean can anyone explain how ANY of these women could be marketed as commercial vocalists? I mean, I could see Sioban as a kind of alt-rock star with her big pipes and psycho persona, but she doesn't even have a pulse on DialIdol, so whatever she has semms to have no mainstream appeal. DialIdol has Katie Stevens running away with the voting, which must mean everyone in Middlebury CT has had extra phone lines with auto-dialers installed. Or, more likely, she already has a long-term deal lined up for one of the low-end lounges at Foxwoods or Mohegan Sun, and the gambling interests have put the fix in to back there play. I think Katie is exactly the sort of talent the white-haired old ladies are going to love while they throw down a few bumps between their multi-hour sessions playing the slots or high stakes bingo.

My God, those were two hours of my life that I will never ever get back. This had to be the worst freakin' top 24 girls night ever. Yet they want a girl to win? And pick these shitty females? That makes sense, doesn't it?

If they want a Taylor Swift, they got it in Haeley. Girl has the worst high notes ever. My ears were bleeding, but she had a good personality.

Katelynn Epperly looked like a hooker from the 80's. Seriously, what was with the whorish make up? Is she getting tips from Haley Scarnato? She sounded good. Some reason, her performance reminded me of Carrie Underwood's first top 24 performance, of "Could've Been".

Siobhan...that girl makes weird faces when she sings. She looks like an alien from Aliens vs. Predators, like she's gonna eat somebody. Its scary, but she's so...quirky, I like it.

Lacey...yeah, its a wonder I didn't slit my wrists after watching it. I thought she was the jazz girl. Why did she pick a bluegrass/country song?

Ashley...lmao, so spot on. Looked just like a horse. So karaoke. And Michelle Delamour looks like a stripper to me. I dunno why. Didi was okay but her vest was ugly. She's Brooke White's slightly less pretty half sister. Crystal was the best. Love her.

I'm getting sleepy thinking about these bitches again. Hopefully the boys will bring it tonight, though I sorely doubt it.

As soon as I saw Katelyn I asked myself why she was dressed like she was following Madonna on tour circa 1986. For once I agreed with Kara.

Hey drama couch... I think we all enjoyed Haeley's performance. I mean, after AI seemed to feature her week after week in auditions and Hollywood rounds, pimping the crap out of her and finally Simon saying he wants a Taylor Swift clone... I was thoroughly enjoying the faces of the powers at AI just cringing at the sight of Haeley on stage.

I don't think I enjoyed a performance like that since Sanjaya, not the episode when Sanjaya left but the one right before, when he tanked it... everyone KNEW he was out, Sanjaya knew he was out.... and he got voted in. The faces on Simon and the crew were priceless when Sajaya got to walk to the "safe" side. I see that in Haeley, except for bigger laughter from the bigger sad eyes from the AI crew because they're expectations were so high for her.

What? Anywhoo... I thought Shebang Magnum was surprisingly ok, but like someone touched on I think, about Crystal... If anyone reminds me again that Alanis Morrisette ever existed, I'm gonna kick everyone I see right in the nuts. Any of these disasters could sing Alanis Morisette and it would be at least as good as the original.
