Magoo, you've done it again! Location: Cartoon land

Just the list of songs makes me queasy...why do they always choose songs that cannot beat the original?

Oh yeah, they're shoved down their throats by the producers. I forgot, my bad.

Ben tells us Brian's doing Axis: Bold As Love by Hendrix

I'm sorry, but this has been all too much for me. The thought that some Idolator would dare to desecrate Jimi's spirit is more than I can bear. Even worse, choosing the title track of the record that made my top ten LPs list. Then to add insult to injury by telling me that this was covered by John Mayer.

Excuse me; I must go now. I feel very weak.

Just one request before I go. Please tell me next week they're not doing 70s progressive rock week so someone can desecrate my namesake.

Haha, "Joybot." I'm loving it.

Meanwhile, I just have a few random thoughts. I think the growl in Matt Rappley's voice was coming from his stomach because he hadn't eaten in the past hour. Kudos to Brian Melo for having the balls (pun fully intended) to wear insanely tight pants with no crotch room, because during his entire performance we got an eye full of his bulge. Martha Joy should just stop singing because I'm tired of her utter refusal to emotionally connect to her songs, and because you can only stylize a song so much. Soon, Canadian Idol will feature our favorite Joybot singing songs completely full of stylizations, falsettos, and minute-long "uh's." But hey, at least she'd finally be connecting emotionally. Oh, and Khalila who?

And as a final note to any Idol hopefuls in the future, the next person to sing "Natural Woman" will be shot, no questions asked. Just let the song rest for a while. PLEASE. FOR MY SANITY.

Dear Twisted Chinaman:

"CARLY RAE (Ray Charles, Georgia On My Mind): Dull, dry and sadly like Ray Charles, devoid of sight -- or anything else for that matter."

MAGNIFICENTLY BRILLIANT, MY MAN!!!

You are truly a genius, bro...
