I just have to say that Randy needs to keep the actual performer references way the hell out of his commentary. First there was the inane and completely inappropriate Alice in Chains comment during boys' night out. Then last night he said Patsy Cline sang "Where the Boys Are". I think he needs to get a PDA with Wikipedia on it so he can stop sounding like such an idiot. Oh wait, he is an idiot so I guess it's a moot point. :-)

So did I. In fact, I missed part of Carlyplant's introduction because I was dosing off. And my wife DID fall asleep.

Only problems I had with the past 2 nights is that the girls sang more manly songs than the guys. Prof, I agree with you. How can "Spinning Wheel" and "Tobacco Road" be on the playlist and not ONE so-called rocker-dude pick them out? Also, Nigel doesn't realize that, in their defense, some of the contestants' PARENTS weren't alive in the 60's! So what we have are kids picking songs they heard on Karaoke Night or retro-night at the high school dance. I love 60's music more than anyone, but even the oldies stations are now playing 70's and 80's (damn, I feel old)... Can't wait till Nigel brings out Big Band Night and Simon asks for "relevance."

Randy didn't say that. But whatever. That's 40 lashes with a wet noodle for thinking the same thing as "NavyDavy" on the official Idol site. [BW cracks noodle whip---chicken gravy splashes all over ceiling] For those who like to check sources, or who simply wish to share in NavyDavy's shame, here's the link: http://www.americanidol.com/photos/?set=483&;seq=9 Kisses, BW

When AlexANDREA Lushington starting singing, I was like "Woah! She's good!" (in my most Randy Jackson way), but when she got into the falsetto it became excuciating. And then when she started talking, it became worse. She's obnoxious. She needs to go home and work on her attitude. If you're holding obnoxiousness against Alaina, you need to do the same for AlexANDREA.
