Only saw the last 30 minutes or so. Seriously? He won? Weren't they just kidding/taunting us? So sad what this show has become. And what was up with Paula? She was supposed to be "roasting" Simon. What a freaking bomb that was! I was embarassed for her. No one laughed and they only applauded at the end to get her off the stage. And WHY were they pimping Janet Jackson? Please! The most animated I have ever seen Crystal was when she was introducing and singing with Joe Cocker. Lee acted like he didn't even know who he was. And last but not least - Lee's last song (wish it had been his swan song) was so out of key that it hurt. Turned it off quickly needless to say. Thank goodness I did not tune in until the last 30 minutes. And thank goodness the madness is over!!

Anyway, where was David Cook in the joyful Idols-reunion?

Why was Michael McDonald trying so hard to outsing Big Mike? All he had to do was walk on stage. And I don't consider Lee winning a VFTW victory. He was the frontrunner in the end. Crystal should have been the pick weeks ago.

I guess if I'm going to be a VFTW fan, I gotta do a little hating on VFTW! Can't wait for x-factor.

For the last couple days, I have been playing "Beautiful Day" by U2 frequently, to remind everyone in my house that Lee doesn't hold a candle to the singing abilities of Bono and that it's a complete joke that he will even attempt to revisit that song.

And I swear if I heard one more person say the word "amazing" one more time during the finale, I would have thrown my TV out the window. Somebody get them a thesaurus.

Or hearing Ellen say "fantastic" with her nasal voice one more time, for that matter...

Where should I begin!? LOL! The whole show sucked and the ONLY reason I watched it was because of Simon. At least he had since to leave this train wreck of a show because it can't be saved anymore. I seriously hope season 10 will be the last. I couldn't get into this season of AI (or the past 5 seasons for that matter) because the contestants never held my interest. Omg, they sounded so horrible...the guys were bad, but the girls were even worse. That's 2 hours and 7 minutes of my life that I can't get back.

The ONLY highlight of the night was seeing Bret Michaels, but other than him, the other performers sucked!!! Janet Jackson sounded terrible and I ended up turning the volume up really loud because I couldn't understand a word she was saying. She also can't dance anymore...she should stick to acting for now on. And how could I forget Christina Aguilera. Was it me or did I hear her voice crack towards the end of her song "Fighter"? She was over doing it with her vocals as usual. And that ballad of hers that she sang, I couldn't pick up what she was saying and again I had to turn my damn volume up. Christina's performance didn't help her singles at all which are flopping so hard on I-Tunes right now. NMT is currently at # 117 and her latest single Woohoo is currently at #102. This is on top of her concert being canceled altogether, the pre-orders for her BIONIC cd are quite low, and her first single NMT fell from #23 to #73 in a matter of weeks on the Billboard Hot 100. She's an even bigger flop than Madame is right now. Her music career is officially DEAD. And to think I was actually rooting for her comeback this year. FAIL! Bye bye AI!
