Gwyneth Paltrow sang on top of a piano with Cee Lo (Grammy - 13 Feb 2011). James' "performance" = 30 March 2011. What does he have to say about that?

then he jumped up on the piano. And as all my fans know and anyone who watched last season would know, I jumped up on a piano.

I used to take piano lessons. It was years before Durbin was born but clearly I need to apologise to him. I've also started a fire once or twice and wore a jacket so really, I ought to be praying for his forgiveness.

As any good school kid knows, James Durbin invented standing on pianos

Then I guess that means that Durbin copied Canadian Idol winner Theo Tams since this performance came almost two years before Durbin's. And I highly doubt Tams was the first Idol performer to use it on the show either.

Next thing you know Durbin will be saying he invented the Internet.

You mean he didn't? I thought he created EVERYTHING!

My illusions are shattered. Especially the metal ones.

Ridiculous. Tourett's Syndrome was invented way before Durbin started using it in his acts. And while Tourette's Syndrome is known to cause side effects like jumping on pianos, screaming lyrics incoherently, and claiming one invented metal, it has systematically been debunked that it is contagious. Colton may have shown a few intial signs of this disease by making weird faces during Reed's sudden death performance, but I believe this is an isolated event. I sincerely doubt that he will do this again, now that Durbin accused him of contracting this disease to mimic him.
