As has been pointed out by others, Seacrest did clearly state that it was Cornell's version. As writing research papers is part of what I do, I am well aware of the rules regarding plagiarism. Cornell was given the proper credit. Now, as for Cook accepting the praise for being original, I will admit that he does strike me as being a complete wanker. However, once again, it isn't as if anyone on that show is actually being original. The show has a rather large band who probably has much more to do with the arrangements than the contestants. So I don't see Cook as being any worse than anyone else in the past who has had what the judges felt was "original" and accepted the praise.

So you are saying that the last year's recaps were worse, and that Dave is actually improving? Because if last year's recaps were better, you'd be proving my point.
