Fuck. One massively talented artist, she's a major loss.

Shes been gone for over a decade. Sad but true. If the rumors are believed, she was a huge cokehead even to this day. More than a decade of her life was a crackhead.

Waste.

Mr Schmev just said that he can't believe I was coming here to see who had Whitney on their list. I forgot to post my picks for 2012, but I never would have had Whitney on my list.

RIP beautiful voice. Such a loss at such a young age.

From TMZ...

Quote :
Dionne Warwick and Cissy Houston spoke with Whitney Houston by phone just before she died and say Whitney seemed fine ... TMZ has learned.

Whitney's mother, Cissy Houston, spoke with her daughter 25-30 minutes before she died and nothing seemed unusual ... sources tell TMZ. We're told they talked about attending the Clive Davis pre-Grammy party.

Dionne Warwick, Whitney's cousin, called as well ... several hours before Whitney died ... to make sure they were sitting at the same table at Clive's party. And again ... there were no signs of trouble.

I hope Stacy gets all the blame for this.

THIS. I thought Whitney was indestructible like Keith Richards, someone else that I would not bet against.

Mr. Lola KNEW I'd be checking. First thing he asks me now when a celebrity dies is whether or not I had them on my list. I still haven't forgiven him for convincing me to remove Steve Jobs from last years list because he had "inside information" that Jobs wasn't in such bad shape.

Hmmm.... Quite possibly a heart attack? Not uncommon for anyone who has had a history of drug abuse.

I was just about to post some smart ass "death points" comment about Whitney in the Celeb Thread, (apropo of that awful pic of her). Glad I didn't.

For me she will always represent the greatest American r&b-pop diva. I forgive her for the "crack is whack", the shitty singing in her later years and the life in tatters.

When she was on top of her game, no one, repeat no one, even came close.

RIP Whitney. She was known by all producers as "one - take Whitney," coz she was basically the only Pop singer EVER to record a track in one take EVERY TIME. She was MIRACULOUS:)

What's really sad is when Wiki has a page for your character but not for you IRL.
